Conditional 2: is used to talk about imaginary, impossible or unlikely situations in the present or future

То, о чём мы фантазируем (что может произойти гипотетически, но ооочень вряд ли)
Conditional 3: is used to talk about imaginary situations in the past
If Martha had come on time, she would have met Rihanna.
Если бы да кабы – наши рассуждения о прошлом, сожаление…
Mixed Conditionals:
2+3: to imagine how a different situation in the present would mean that the past was different as well
If we liked dancing, we would have come to that party.
Но в действительности мы не любим танцевать, поэтому и не пошли на ту вечеринку в прошлом. 🙅🏻♀️🪩
3+2: to imagine a past change with a result in the present
If you had taken the medicine, you would feel better now.
Вот если бы ты принял то лекарство тогда…но ты не принял, вот и страдаешь сейчас – тонкие нотки критики. ☹️

THE KEYS TO CREATIVITY
🤓 What is luck? Is it a supernatural force dictated by gods or forces that we cannot control or is it just coincidence – being in the right place at the right time? Societies all over the world have always had this idea. The Ancient Romans even had a goddess of luck called Fortuna! Even today when we are surrounded by technology and advanced scientific ideas people still talk about it as a real force. Personally, I think you can shape your own future with the things you do and the decisions you make. We are not passive beings – we can make our own luck!
🤔 So what do I mean by this? Well, it is no coincidence that people who study hard pass exams or those who eat well and get enough sleep, are generally healthier than those who do not. Obviously, we can increase the chances of being happy, healthy and successful through the choices we make.
⛈ It is often said that some things cannot be controlled and I would have to agree with that. But when bad things happen to us, is it always down to 'bad' luck? This idea is often exaggerated. For example, suppose you were on holiday in an area that is prone to tropical storms and the weather was bad, that would be no surprise – you just didn't do your research carefully. Next time, choose another destination or a different time of year!
🎨 Another example is the idea of beginner's luck – when you first start a new sport or hobby, you often seem quite good at it but then later, you find it more difficult and may make more mistakes. How can this be explained? Well, I'd say that any progress made when you start something new seems fantastic, but later, when you have to do more difficult things and there is an expectation you will be better than you are, you feel that you are out of luck – that's just not true! You need to practice more to keep improving.
🥰 To sum up, people who sit around complaining about their 'bad' luck need to take responsibility for their own lives and decisions and try to accomplish something. Those are the ones who will have the last laugh!
