#GDC 2020 is going to be pretty quiet: Facebook Oculus, Sony, Microsoft, Unity, Epic Games and even Kojima Productions announced their plans to skip any events for now.

#Coronavirus outbreak, unfortunately, hitting the industry in such an important year: New Generation consoles and some iconic games releases are now a risky business.

And it happened: #GDC promises to open its doors later this year. The event, that supposed to take place in March is no longer possible. Because of the #Coronavirus, all platinum sponsors refused to risk and the majority of big companies cancelled their plans to participate.

There are some other events in Summer and Autumn, so, hard to believe, that there will be enough space for GDC. The funniest thing, that you still can order some items for the event, that will not happen.

Will online conferences take the place of big offline events? #Coronavirus and #NVIDIA said YES!
