🌏 The BRICS Universe photo exhibition opened in Beijing today!

🇨🇳China, with its rich history and fascinating panoramas, appeared to the guests of the exhibition in a new light, revealing its cosmic expanses and unique beauty.

The BRICS Universe photo exhibition presented unique photographs taken by astronauts from the ISS and photographers on earth who captured UNESCO's creative cities in their colors, feelings, secrets, events, heritage and the greatness of nature.

The program of the event:

📌The opening ceremony of the exhibition;
📌Greetings from outstanding representatives in the field of science and culture of Russia and China;
📌An opportunity to get acquainted with unique photographic works together with a Russian test cosmonaut by Sergey Kud-Sverchkov.

The event was hosted by Diana Kovela, Deputy Director of the Foundation for Creative Industries of the Ulyanovsk Region, the project office for International Youth Cooperation "Russia-BRICS" and Gao Lei, Advisor to the Director of the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing.

⚡️Recall that the first of the 10 exhibitions opened on February 1 at the Cosmonautics Museum in Moscow, the second on March 7 in St. Petersburg, then in Rio de Janeiro and in the city of Kargopol. The project will last until the end of October and will cover Nizhny Novgorod, Ulyanovsk, Indian Mumbai, South African Cape Town and Kazan.

In August of this year, the unique BRICS Universe project was launched – an exhibition embodying the idea of creative cooperation between the BRICS countries and demonstrating the unity of countries through the art of photography, combining unique images of UNESCO cities captured from the International Space Station and from Earth.

⚡️We have already completed half of the route, exhibitions in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rio de Janeiro, Kargopol and Beijing!

The organization of the BRICS Universe exhibition is a difficult but incredibly exciting process, starting with the transportation of exhibits from different parts of the world and ending with the creation of a unique exhibition space in each new city.
