🏴❌🇳🇪 — ISWAP conducts an attack on the strategic city of Diffa in Niger, on the border with Nigeria.

➡️ The defenses quickly fell and the terrorists entered the city into populated areas before withdrawing, this is the first ISWAP attack on a military target in Niger in months.

➡️ In a similar notable event, ISWAP infiltrated the city of Maiduguri, state capital of Borno, to kidnap a militiaman and take his car, and later executed him after interrogation.

➡️ This is reminiscent of IS in Iraq or Libya going directly into soldiers' houses to 'arrest' them even in large cities.
