#NEWS | President Zelensky of Ukraine openly opposes position voiced by President Trump's special envoy to Ukraine, Keith Kellogg.

General Kellogg confidently excluded the EU from being part in the upcoming Ukraine peace talks. While President Zelensky later stated that, since the war is ongoing in Ukraine, his country should lead the decision making on the matter of who is invited to be part of the peace talks.

This is the second time in two days, when President Zelensky opposes the Trump administration. Yesterday, he refused to sign a natural resources treaty with the US, citing lack of security guarantees in that. However, in President Trump's opinion, the treaty represents Ukraine compensating the US for its past help provided to the Eastern European ally.
