🇫🇮🇪🇪🇩🇪 Traficom received information that THREE telecommunications connections from Finland were also damaged. Two of them are the Elisa lines near #Finland and #Estonia, and one is the Cinia line between Finland and #Germany
On Thursday morning, info was received that there are also disruptions on the fourth connection between Finland and Estonia
🇷🇺🇨🇰During the breakage of the Estlink 2 submarine cable, the oil tanker Eagle S, sailing under Cook Islands flag
🇷🇺🇪🇬 According to Marinetraffic, the oil tanker was en route from St. Petersburg to Egypt
The British maritime publication Lloyd's List, which covers maritime traffic, reports the Eagle S is part of #Russia's "shadow fleet."
At the time the cable broke, there were approximately 35,000 tons of unleaded gasoline on board

Finland's government said Thursday it plans to keep its border with Russia closed and extend a controversial law allowing border guards to turn away asylum seekers under certain circumstances.
