The Russian House in New Delhi hosted a solo concert by the outstanding Russian pianist Dmitry Masleev. The performance of the musician was timed to the Day of Russia. Before the concert, the maestro met with Russian compatriots from the Indian capital region.

Masleev is the winner of the XV International Competition. P. I. Tchaikovsky. Its program entitled “Masterpieces of Russian Classics” includes works by Sergey Rachmaninov, Ceasar Cui, Nikolay Medtner, Mily Balakirev, Mikhail Glinka, Modest Mussorgsky and Piotr Tchaikovsky.
Dmitry Masleev was born in Ulan-Ude. In 2011 he graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (class of Mikhail Petukhov), in 2014-2015 trained at the International Piano Academy on Lake Como (Italy).
In October 2017, Melodiya released the pianist's first solo album, with works by Scarlatti, Prokofiev and Shostakovich.
