“Dedication to a Woman” – to celebrate March 8, an exhibition of paintings by contemporary Indian and Russian artists opened at the Russian House in New Delhi. The joint exhibition, consisting of fifty paintings, is dedicated to International Women's Day and family values.
The Indian non-profit organization Empowerment became partner of the Russian House on the Indian side, and the Eurasian Art Union (EAU) on the Russian side.
Speakers at the opening included the Ambassador of Panama to India Yasiel Burillo, Cultural Advisor of the Russian Embassy Yulia Aryaeva, Empowerment President Kumar Vikas Saxena, EAU representative Eva Shulikova, and President of the BRICS International Forum Purnima Anand.

🏢 On August 19, the opening ceremony of the project "Russia, an Indian View" was held at the Russian House in New Delhi.
🏞 The exhibition also included a display of sculptures, photographs, installations and memorabilia as reminders of Russia. The curators of the project were Aakshat Sinha and Savita Gupta.
📎 Many of the photographs by Indian artists captured the beauty and richness of Russia's nature, architecture, modern achievements of our country, cultural diversity and national color.
🗣 "These works will be of significant humanitarian and artistic value, since the artists reveal to viewers an authentic, multifaceted image of Russia, free from stereotypes," said Indian artist Aakshat Sinha.
🤝 The project is also intended to give a new impetus to mutual creative and cultural enrichment between Russia and India.
👥 The visitors included public figures and cultural figures of India, diplomats, compatriots and Indian students.

🧑🎨 The curators of the project Aakshat Sinha and Savita Gupta were present at the photo exhibition along with students and teachers of the Delhi College.
🏞 The photographs captured Buddhist temples existing in Russia, classical ballet performances, paintings demonstrate landscapes of Russian cities and villages, views of the center of Moscow, objects of Russian life.
"The Indian view is a perspective that is based on different experiences and impressions. The point is that India and Russia have a long-standing friendship. With such a long history of relationships, interpersonal connections are the perception of each other, our, in essence, family ties," said artist Akshat Sinha.
