Today we are going to tell you about the Saint Petersburg Mining University (SPMI) (https://en.spmi.ru/) in our column on #UniversitiesOfRussia.
This is the first technical university in Russia. It was established in 1773 in Saint Petersburg. The university prepares world-class professionals in different fields – from mining and oil-and-gas engineering to economics and information science.
It ranked highest among all Russian universities in the 2022 QS Rankings (Great Britain) and joined top 10 best engineering and technical institutions in the world.
