🏫 The work of the Summer School for Advanced Studies for Compatriots-Teachers of Russian as a Foreign Language ended in St. Petersburg.
📆 For the sixth year in a row, the program organized by the Administration of the Northern Capital, the Russkiy Mir Foundation and St. Petersburg State University is supported by Rossotrudnichestvo. The School participants were greeted by Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, and Dr. Elena Remizova, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Republic of India.
📈 Every year the number of School participants is increasing, this year representatives from 24 countries came to St. Petersburg, among which there were 4 participants from India: Evgenia Solovchuk and Valentina Mayorova (University of Madras), Olga Ilyina (Teremok Center in Bangalore), Nilima Singh (University of Delhi).
📖 The new knowledge and teaching methods gained during the two weeks spent in the city on the Neva river inspired the program participants to modernize and intensify the educational process, as well as new projects in the field of Russian as a Foreign Language, which can be implemented, including with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo.

A gala evening was held at the Russian House in New Delhi to celebrate the 270th anniversary of Lomonosov Moscow State University and Russian Students' Day with the participation of Indian graduates of Moscow State University and other Russian universities, teachers and students specializing in Russian studies.
Mr Roman Babushkin, Minister-Counselor of the Russian Embassy in India, and Dr Elena Remizova, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India, delivered welcoming remarks.
Indian graduates of Moscow State University were presented with commemorative certificates signed by Viktor Antonovich Sadovnichy. The event featured a screening of the film "History of Moscow State University", created by Valdis Pelsh especially for the anniversary. In this festive atmosphere, the Youth Club of the Russian House was presented, and the first members were accepted into the club. Let us remind you that the first public meeting of the Youth Club will be held on January 31 at 3 p.m., everyone is invited!

Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India Dr. Elena Remizova, Deputy Director of the State Museum of the East Mr. Ilya Zaitsev and Director of the Roerich Museum Mr. Boris Joganson met with the Director of the National Gallery of Modern Art Pooja Hali on the eve of the opening of a unique exhibition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Nicholas Roerich. The artist's works were collected from state museums and private collections from all over India. Russian specialists appreciated the uniqueness of the exhibition and expressed a desire to take part in a special Program prepared by the Gallery, which will last until the fall of this year. Ilya Zaitsev invited his Indian colleagues to the opening of the updated exposition of the Roerich Museum in Moscow this fall. On April 12, a memorial plaque depicting the founders of cosmonautics Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, Sergei Korolev and Yuri Gagarin was unveiled at the Russian House in New Delhi. The event was timed to coincide with Cosmonautics Day, a date that symbolizes the beginning of a new era in human history.
The welcoming remarks at the ceremony were made by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of India Mr. Denis Alipov, the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India Dr. Elena Remizova, the Russian pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of Russia Mr. Denis Matveev, and the representative of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Mr. Rajiv Kumar Jaiswal.
The event emphasized the exceptional importance of international dialogue in the field of space, scientific exchange and preserving the historical memory of the great achievements that opened the way to the stars for humanity.
The participants of the meeting paid special attention to the rich history of Russian-Indian partnership in the space sector — cooperation that has been going on for many decades. Words of gratitude to the pioneers and hope for the further development of bilateral initiatives in space exploration were expressed.
A bronze panel depicting the founders of cosmonautics was donated to the Russian House in New Delhi by the International Charitable Foundation “Dialogue of Cultures – One World”.
