В Международный день образования Русский дом в Нью-Дели представил российскую программу обучения иностранцев в отечественных вузах по квоте правительства в 2023-2024 учебном году. Презентация состоялась в индийской столице в рамках международной конференции, посвященной вопросам получения знаний.

На форуме выступили министр труда и занятости штата Уттар-Прадеш Рагхурадж Сингх (правящая Индийская народная партия), эксперты из Великобритании, Индии, Непала и России.

Генеральная Ассамблея Организации Объединенных Наций провозгласила 24 января Международным днем образования в знак признания роли образования в обеспечении мира и развития.

On International Education Day, the Russian House in New Delhi presented the Russian program for training foreigners in domestic universities according to the government quota in the 2023-2024 academic year. The presentation took place in the Indian capital as part of an international conference on knowledge acquisition.
Uttar Pradesh Minister of Labor and Employment Raghuraj Singh (ruling Indian People's Party), experts from Great Britain, India, Nepal and Russia spoke at the forum.
The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 24 January as International Education Day in recognition of the role of education in peace and development.

Number of quotas for foreign citizens granted by the government of Russian Federation rises each year. For instance, in 2014 15,000 foreign students could obtain quotas and learn in Russian universities. This year, 30,000 quotas were granted.

The main task is to provide foreign citizens with a high—quality education so that upon their return to their homeland they can work for the economic development of their states. According to the Deputy Head of the Agency Pavel Shevtsov, quotas should be allocated to those specialization, which will be in high demand over the next 4-6 years.

In 2021, Rossotrudnichestvo created “Education in Russia” site - education-in-russia.com. Currently foreign citizens can apply for 2023-2024 academic year education quota.will be in high demand over the next 4-6 years.

Онлайн-кампус предлагает широкий спектр образовательных программ, включая дополнительное профессиональное образование, бакалаврские и магистерские программы, реализуемые полностью онлайн. Проект представляет особый интерес для абитуриентов из-за рубежа и для взрослых, которым сложнее поступить на программы, требующие физического присутствия в университете. По словам ректора, онлайн-кампус — это не просто набор образовательных программ, но и среда, где участники могут пользоваться всеми сервисами университета, не выходя из дома.

The Higher School of Economics (HSE) has launched an online campus, "HSE Online," for the first time among universities in Russia. The online campus offers a wide range of educational programs, including additional professional education, bachelor's and master's programs that are fully implemented online. The project is of particular interest to international applicants and adults who find it difficult to enroll in programs that require physical presence at the university. According to the rector, the online campus is not just a set of educational programs, but also an environment where participants can use all of the university's services without leaving home.
