Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (Kaliningrad, Russia) invites foreign citizens who have a command of Russian at a level not lower than basic (A2) to take part in the annual Russian language contest “Online Russian Dictation”.
Russian Dictation is not only a linguistic contest for Russian language connoisseurs but also an opportunity to learn new things about the Russian language and culture. The contest is held since 2006 and annually includes a public mini-lecture on the topic of the Dictation. In 2024, the Dictation celebrates the 225th anniversary of Russian writer Alexander Pushkin and the 300th anniversary of Immanuel Kant, a philosopher of international importance.
Dictation texts are adapted to the required Russian proficiency level:
✅ Level 1 – for participants with A2-B1 Russian proficiency level;
✅ Level 2 – for participants with B2-C1 Russian proficiency level.
All the participants will receive e-certificates. Winners and prize-winners will receive valuable gifts!
The Online Russian Dictation 2024 will take place on January 25, 2024 at 14:00 (2:00 PM) Kaliningrad time (GMT+2). On this day, following a tradition that dates back to 1850, Russian students celebrate their main holiday – Tatiana Day or Russian Students' Day.

More than three dozen people took part in an international educational campaign in support of the book and reading "Literary Dictation," which took place in the Russian House in New Delhi. Traditionally, in September it brings together reading lovers who want to check how well they are familiar with the texts of classical and modern Russian literature.Participants answered 20 entertaining questions related to the works of Russian authors.
All participants received certificates, and diplomas will be awarded to the winners after checking the work. The results will be published next week on our social networks.

🏢 More than three dozen people took part in the international educational event "The Great Ethnographic Dictation", which took place at the Russian House in New Delhi.
📝 "The Great Ethnographic Dictation" is an educational project that introduces the culture of the peoples living in Russia. The dictation also allows you to assess the general level of ethnocultural literacy.
📎 The Dictation tasks consisted of 20 federal questions for participants under 16 years old and 30 for participants over 16 years old.
✅ After completing the dictation, a Participant Certificate will be generated on the website in electronic form. The correct answers to the tasks will also be published on the website by November 13, 2024.

More than three dozen people took part in the international educational campaign "Geographical Dictation - 2024" in New Delhi, which was held with the support of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in India.
"Geographical Dictation" has been held annually since 2015. Assessing the level of geographical literacy is not the main goal of the campaign. It is aimed at popularizing geographical knowledge, as well as increasing interest in science and national heritage.
This is the tenth international educational campaign that is being held this year in Russia and abroad.
The dictation tasks consisted of 30 questions. You can find out your personal result of writing the Dictation after December 12. To do this, you will need to enter your individual participant number in the field designated for this on the website dictant.rgo.ru.

Ecodictation is an annual project aimed at forming an environmental culture, popularizing environmental knowledge among various segments of the population, increasing the level of environmental literacy as a measure to prevent environmental violations and the main component of environmental safety.
The main topics of the Eco-dictation in 2024 are the "Red Book", "Protected areas" and "Ecotourism".
This year, special attention was paid to compiling questions related to the peculiarities of the existence of rare species of plants and animals, the principles of ecotourism, interesting facts about the world-famous specially protected natural areas of Russia.
The results of the international environmental dictation will be known after December 9.
