Having started in a symbolic place near the Kremlin Wall, where the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is located, the campaign has acquired special significance.

Now the Flame of Memory" is heading beyond Russia - to India, where it is expected in Delhi and Chennai. This continuation symbolizes friendship and historical ties between peoples, as well as the desire to preserve the common memory of the fight against fascism. Such international stages emphasize the contribution of different countries to the Victory and contribute to the development of cultural and historical dialogue.

The final screening in a series of weekly film screenings dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory took place in the Russian House in New Delhi. The audience was shown the Belarusian film "Time to come back" by director Ivan Pavlov - a profound and heartfelt film dedicated to the feat of Soviet partisans during the Great Patriotic War.

Before the screening, the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India Dr Elena Remizova and the first secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in India Mr. Evgeny Vlasevsky made welcoming remarks. They emphasized the importance of cultural dialogue and the memory of the heroic pages of history that unite peoples.

The film takes viewers back to the summer of 1944, when preparations were underway for one of the largest operations of World War II - the Belarusian offensive operation "Bagration". A partisan brigade is tasked with scouting out weak spots in the German defense, but an elite enemy unit, the Jagdkommando, is on their trail. Drama, tension, and human dignity are the key notes of the film, which reveals the inner strength and fortitude of the heroes.

The Indian public received the film with particular attention. "An amazing and profound film about the war. It shows the courage of Soviet soldiers in the fight for freedom and defense of the Motherland," viewers shared their impressions.
