Experts from the Eurasian countries will discuss the digital sovereignty of the state

The first Eurasian IT Forum "Digital Sovereignty as the basis for Long-term International Cooperation" will be held in Moscow from February 20 to 21.

Heads of relevant departments and companies, representatives of universities and the expert community from more than 20 countries are invited to participate.

The event is dedicated to the digitalization of the state and various aspects of this process: information security, personnel training, and the creation of smart cities and regions. It will be held in Moscow and Novosibirsk from May 23 to June 16, 2024.

‼️ What is needed to participate?

- be between 25 and 35 years of age;
- have foreign citizenship (do not have Russian citizenship);

Russian scientists have created an educational platform "Telequant" for learning quantum programming.

This platform allows students to practice working with a 30-qubit quantum computer emulator hosted on the VK Cloud. The interface is implemented as a simple dialogue in Telegram or VK chatbots, making it possible for the users to familiarize themselves with quantum programming without expensive hardware or specialized software.

The creators of the project hope that the platform will help address the shortage of personnel in the field of quantum computing.

На этой платформе учащиеся могут практиковаться в работе с эмулятором 30-кубитного квантового компьютера, размещенным в облаке VK Cloud. Ancient manuscripts can be now recognized with help of modern technologies

A computer program determining the age and authorship of ancient manuscripts has been created in Veliky Novgorod. The unique product based on neural networks was developed by specialists from the Advanced Engineering School of the Novgorod University (NovSU) named after Yaroslav the Wise.

There is no analogue of the program, TASS reports. The specialists said that the program is capable of recognizing the time of writing of the ancient document and the author from a photograph of an ancient manuscript.

В Великом Новгороде создали программу, способную распознавать древние рукописи, определяя их возраст и авторство.

Разработку уникального продукта на базе нейросетей осуществили специалисты Передовой инженерной школы Новгородского университета (НовГУ) имени Ярослава Мудрого. По их словам, аналога программы не существует, сообщает ТАСС.

Специалисты рассказали о том, что программа способна по фотоснимку древней рукописи распознать время написания древнего документа и автора.
