Russian House in New Delhi hosted the X All-India Conference of Russian Compatriots, at which a resolution was adopted for 2023.
It contains a total of 15 paragraphs. The action plan of the Indian Association of Russian Compatriots (IARS) includes strengthening the position of the Russian language in the country, the formation of youth associations of compatriots, the creation of databases of translators, lawyers from the CIS countries, teachers of the Russian language.
“Living here, we honorably bear the title of Russian women and our task, having adopted Indian culture and preserving Russian, is to bring our spiritual values to Indians,” emphasizes Elena Barman, chairman of the Indian Association of Russian Compatriots.
The head of the Russian House in New Delhi, Oleg Osipov, spoke about the ongoing events for compatriots and called on organizations of Russian-speaking citizens to take an active part in them.
Delegates from Bangalore, Kolkata Mumbai, Trivandrum and Chennai also attended the conference.
