New Year's magic in Bangalore! ✨✨✨
New Year Celebration for children was held on December 24 in Bangalore.
Children played a quest - searching for Snow Maiden (Father Frost's granddaughter) mittens with various interesting tasks. Students of the children's club "Teremok" prepared a dance of Snowflakes and a theatrical performance with games and the participation of Father Frost, Snow Maiden, the Snowman and forest animals.
🎄🎁All children enjoyed the New Year magic atmosphere and received New Year's gifts from Father Frost!

Who is the Snow Maiden? ❄️❄❄
🎄In Russia, the main characters of the New Year are considered to be the Father Frost and the Snow Maiden. The snow beauty gained wide popularity only in the 19th century after the release of a fairy tale, a play in verse by Alexander Ostrovsky about a doll made of snow, which later came to life.
🎄According to legend, the Snow Maiden lives in the kingdom of Berendeyevo. In fact, there is a village Berendeevka, located in the Yaroslavl province. The relationship between the Snow Maiden and Father Frost changed. If in Ostrovsky's fairy tale the Snow Maiden was the daughter of Father Frost, now she is believed to be his granddaughter.
🎄The heroine has her own residence in Kostroma. The hostess always greets guests with a traditional treat - bread and salt. After the Snow Maiden introduces the guests to the assistants - the cat Bayun and a couple of the household spirits - brownies.
🎄Snow Maiden's residence has a special Ice Room. This is a very cold place, where the temperature is constant all year round - minus 15 degrees. Guests are offered Russian fur coats and felt boots. The Ice Room itself is small. Icicles hang from the air conditioner, and the light bulbs on the ceiling are covered in snow. The room is decorated with ice figurines.
