Today Russian House in Chennai was filled with children's laugh and smiles! 👦🧒

More than 170 school students from Doveton Matriculation Higher Secondary School,Kodungaiyur; Velammal Vidyalaya, Alapakkam; P.S.Temple Green Vidyashram, Mathur came to Russian House in Chennai to learn more about Russia.

Kids participated in the quiz "What do you know about Russia" and really made us happy with good knowledge of the facts connected with Russia!

🎥Everybody enjoyed the screening of the cartoons created by young talented animator directors (program of the International Film Festival "Short Film Days"). 15 animated short films were made in the different techniques, devoted to different topics, bright and memorable.

After the screening schoolchildren, their teachers and parents visited the Library, discovered the wide range of literature and fiction available.

During the snack time our guests were discussing cartoons, sharing the emotions and took photos.

📽Russian House in Chennai hosted today the screening of the short films “From Nearest and Dearest” as a part of the International Film Festival "Short Film Days".

170 students from the Visual Communication Departments of Dr.MGR Institute and Sri Ramaswamy Memorial University joined our event today.

📢After watching the movies there was a fantastic opportunity for the students to expand their understanding of the film industry and further their careers in visual communication by the participation in the discussion with the professionals who successfully work in the cinema industry.

🎥Indian film director and screenwriter, President of IndoRussian Cinemas Mr. Venkatesh Kumar
🎥Cinematographer and founder of Ink Gallery Mr.Prabhu Ramakrishnan
🎥Movie Producer, founder of Sahara Asia school, which focuses on Asian languages and cultures Ms. Uma Balu
🎥Cinematographer Mr.Sivanesan, who has been documenting theatre plays and works closely with the Chennai Theatre Community.
