#OTD On February 8th, 1834 world famous Russian scientist Dmitry Ivanovich Mendeleev was born.
๐Ÿ”ฌDmitry was passionate about chemistry and his deepest wish was to sort out the chaos of the subject and categories it.
Mendeleevโ€™s wish led to his discovery of the periodic law and his creation of the now most used periodic table by all science students and scientists. It is one of the most iconic symbols in science which almost everyone recognizes instantly.

๐Ÿ”ฌ"I saw in a dream a table where all elements fell into place as required. Awakening, I immediately wrote it down on a piece of paper, only in one place did a correction later seem necessary."

๐Ÿ“–This is a page out of a book of chemical technology at the Library of Russian House in Chennai.
It not only holds the lineage of Russian writers but has a huge collection of Tamil translated books, children books and English fiction books like Jeffery Archer, Stephen King, Chris Ryan and Many more!!
๐Ÿ“šWe also have the right amount of reference books and informational encyclopedias to expand your knowledge and magazines to keep you updated.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บIrina Beletskaya, a Russian scientist and professor at the Chemistry Department of Moscow State University, has been awarded the UNESCO Prize named after Russian chemist Dmitry Mendeleev.

๐Ÿ…The international jury awarded Irina Beletskaya for her pioneering method of synthesizing carbon-nitrogen bonding.

๐Ÿ‘The jury acknowledged the Russian chemist for her groundbreaking scientific contributions to chemistry, particularly her pioneering research on organometallic reactions and the utilization of catalysts based on transition metals and metal nanoparticles in organic synthesis.

โœ…In the mid-1990s she developed an innovative method for carbon-nitrogen bond synthesis in collaboration with foreign chemists Steven Buchwald and John Hartwig. The outcomes of her research are actively applied in the agro-industrial sector, petrochemical industry, and pharmaceuticals.
