🇷🇺🇮🇳On January 24, the Consul General of Russia in Mumbai Mr. Ivan Fetisov held a meeting with the Vice-Chancellor of Mumbai University Prof. Ravindra D. Kulkarni.

🫱🏻‍🫲🏼The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of education and agreed to make joint efforts to expand Russian language teaching programs at one of the most prestigious universities in India.

🔥The Consul General also visited the Center for Eurasian Studies at Mumbai University, met with the Head of the Russian Language Department Dr. Sanjay Deshpande.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 It was a great honor for us to attend the flag salutation and ceremonial march in Mumbai on January 26th, marking India's 76th Republic Day.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Government of Maharashtra for inviting us to witness this significant occasion 🙏

The Russian side is especially proud that the BrahMos missile, a symbol of the successful Russian-Indian joint production, was prominently featured during the ceremony. This highlights the deepening collaboration between our two nations🚀

🇷🇺🇮🇳 A meeting took place on January 27 between Mr. Ivan Fetisov, the Consul General of Russia in Mumbai, and Mr. Rahul Narwekar, the Honorable Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, in order to discuss the prospects for interparliamentary cooperation, including at the regional level.

The meeting underscored the importance of continued collaboration and strengthening ties between our two countries, especially within parliamentary institutions.

The Russian side has been extremely impressed by the Vidhan Bhavan building. We would like to thank the Indian partners for the opportunity to visit such a remarkable place 😊

🇷🇺🇮🇳 27 января прошла встреча между И.Ю.Фетисовым, Генеральным консулом России в Мумбаи, и Р. Нарвекаром, спикером Законодательного собрания штата Махараштра, в ходе которой обсуждались перспективы межпарламентского сотрудничества, в том числе на региональном уровне.

Стороны подчеркнули особую важность продолжения партнерских отношений и укрепления связей между нашими странами, особенно в рамках взаимодействия между законодательными органами.
