⛴Two ship of the Russian Pacific Fleet, including the Guards missile cruiser "Varyag" and the frigate "Marshal Shaposhnikov", made a port call in Kochi.
🇷🇺 🤝 🇮🇳 On August 7, a reception was held aboard the Marshal Shaposhnikov. The chief guest was Rear Admiral U. Kundu, Chief of Staff of the Indian Navy's Southern Naval Command. 30 Indian officers, including female service members, attended the event.
🟣 The Indian side organized cultural excursions and joint sports activities for the Russian sailors.
🟣 The Pacific Fleet ships' long-distance voyage began on January 22 this year. During this time, the Pacific sailors conducted dozens of combat training exercises and routine activities at sea. The ship crews also made port calls in Sri Lanka, Iran, Qatar, and Eritrea.
