On June 18–19, Vladimir Putin will pay a friendly state visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea at the invitation of the Chairman of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong-un.

On June 19–20, Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) Nguyen Phu Trong.
While in Hanoi, Vladimir Putin will meet with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong, President To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chính, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
The talks will focus on the current status of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and Vietnam in the trade, economic, scientific, technological, and humanitarian spheres, as well as its development prospects. The leaders will also exchange opinions on topical issues on the international and regional agenda.
Following the talks, the sides will adopt a joint statement and sign a number of bilateral documents.

🇷🇺🇧🇾 On June 24-25, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay an official visit to Minsk, which will be timed to coincide with the 32nd Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Belarus.
🤝 The programme of the visit includes:
• meeting with President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko,
• meeting with Speaker of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova and Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Igor Sergeenko,
• talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Aleinik.
Sergey Lavrov will also lay a wreath at the Victory Monument and address students and teachers at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Belarus.
The two Foreign Ministers will discuss a wide range of bilateral and international issues, as well as foreign policy coordination at multilateral venues. They will also focus on diplomatic support for integration processes within the Union State and efforts to create a new Eurasian security architecture.
They will outline a schedule for further contacts, including an annual joint meeting of the collegiums of the foreign ministries of Russia and Belarus to be held in the fourth quarter of 2024 in Minsk.
Following the talks, the two Foreign Ministers are planning to sign:
✍️ A joint statement on the main tasks in the context of the foreign policy dimension of union integration;
✍️ A joint appeal to the heads of executive structures of friendly Eurasian associations with an invitation to dialogue on security in Eurasia and work on an Eurasian Charter on Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century.

🗓 On September 15-22, 2024, the III Open World Astronomy Olympiad (OWAO) will take place in the Federal Territory “Sirius”.
The Olympiad is based on the best astronomical traditions, which brought together world-renowned specialists in the subject.
The event aims to strengthen scientific and educational partnerships with other countries as well as to identify talent in astronomy.
👉 The age of the Olympiad participants must not exceed 18 years, while the minimum age threshold is not established.
Not only captivating tasks but an extensive cultural program comprising lectures, creative and educational workshops and excursions are awaiting the participants. The program is available on the Olympiad website.
❗️Registration lasts until August 10, 2024.

⚡️ The deadline for submitting applications for the BRICS Solutions Awards competition has been extended until August 30, 2024.
Within the framework of the BRICS Solutions Awards contest, the participants are encouraged to share their projects and ideas under the following eight categories:
• New Industry and Energy;
• Biotechnology and National Health;
• Sky, Space and Communication Technologies;
• Artificial Intelligence and Digital Services;
• Climate and Environmental Technologies;
• Platforms and End-to-End Solutions for Government and Public Administration;
• Competences and Staff Development;
• Cognitive Technologies and Creative Economy.
Applications have already been received from 🇮🇳 India, 🇧🇷 Brazil, 🇿🇦 South Africa, 🇨🇳 China, 🇪🇬 Egypt and 🇪🇹 Ethiopia. Most of the projects were received in the nomination "New Industry and Energy", in the second place — "Platforms and integrated solutions for government and public administration".
Applications will be accepted at the official website. The BRICS Solutions Awards will conclude with a solemn award ceremony at the BRICS Business Forum in Moscow in October 2024.

⚡️ Registration of representatives of the media and blogosphere for the BRICS Summit is open (Kazan, October 22-24).
In order to be accredited you need to complete a registration application on the official website of the Summit.
🪪 Media and blogosphere representatives are given accreditation badges provided their registration applications are approved by the Summit Organising Committee.
Accreditation badges are issued at accreditation stations. Information about the location and work schedule of the accreditation stations is available on the event’s official website.
Applications without a covering letter will not be considered.
