On April 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared the period of 2022-2031 as the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia.

Over the next ten years, it is planned to attract more talented young people into the field of science and development, to promote the involvement of researchers in solving problems which are important to the country, and to increase the availability of information about the achievements and developments of Russian science.
