Children and women of the #UOC community of Trebukhiv, under the protection of a few men, gathered in the refectory and pray. From the outside - an aggressive crowd of non-church people, of which there are more unknown people in military uniform than villagers, mobilized "for the OCU". They already captured the UOC church, now trying to siege a dining room.

Entry is free for now. Although, before the court decision, no actions of the Ministry of Culture on the territory of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra can be legal. In addition, any "Acts of acceptance and transfer" must be signed with both sides "transfer" must not be confused with "capture".
This building was constructed 1839 - there were monastic cells here. In 1872, the Church of all Venerable was opened on the second floor. In 1924, the Bolsheviks appropriated this building along with the entire Lavra. The temple was devastated, and in its place the Soviet authorities opened an exhibition hall (familiar story?) and since 1991 nothing has been returned to the Church.
🙏 In 2002, by the forces of the #UOC #monastery, the #church in honor of All Venerable of the Caves was again equipped and opened in the premise.

Bundestag deputy from the party "Alternative for Germany" and PACE member Harald Weill said in an interview to "deutschlandkurier" that the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe needs to investigate the actions of the Ukrainian leadership against the UOC.
“I demand that the Council of Europe begin monitoring this situation,” he said.
The deputy listed the cases of churches destructions and desecrations of shrines known to him, he also said about the attempts to hinder religious rites.
The persecution of the #UOC is incompatible with the intentions of Kyiv to join the European Union, said the German deputy.

Послання адресоване православним християнам від місцевих ненависників та прибічників держцеркви ПЦУ.
У заклику нема жодних напівтонів. Пряма погроза вбивства священнослужителям Української Православної Церкви. Всі розуміють, про кого йдеться у фразі "московські попи", яких хтось хоче вирізати в українському тилу.
В Хмельницькій єпархії УПЦ нагадали нещодавню доповідь ООН, де чітко зазначається, що українська влада розпалює ворожнечу проти вірян УПЦ.
Погроза на стіні Дому Божого — це прямий наслідок кампанії цькування й дискримінації проти православних українців, яку ініціює влада. І це, мабуть, найкращий приклад того, про що розповідає ООН.
Чим далі влада та активісти ПЦУ заходять у своїй репресивній політиці щодо православних християн, тим помітнішими стають їхні злочини. Навіть для інститутів ООН, які часто звинувачують у повільності та неоднозначності реакцій.
Ця чергова доповідь Організації Об’єднаних Націй про ситуацію з правами людини на території України охоплює період з 1 лютого по 30 квітня 2023.
Цього разу вона дещо відрізняється від попередніх, адже частина, яка стосується релігійних утисків значно розширилася. Поряд з доповідями про воєнні злочини та гуманітарну катастрофу стоїть доповідь про утиски УПЦ...

⛓Заарештований, перебуває у СІЗО з 12 березня 2024 р.
#Валерій з тих людей, які не мислять себе без Церкви і поза Церквою.
Він має вищу музичну освіту. Закінчив Київську державну консерваторію як музикознавець. Донедавна він працював звукорежисером та музичним редактором на православному телеканалі #ГЛАС.
Це людина християнської моралі, яка намагається жити так, як очікує від нас Господь. Жити по правді та заповідям Спасителя. Це підтвердить кожен, хто його знає, без винятку.
Мені здається, що жити для нього взагалі означає – жити по-християнськи, і лише так. Ці суворі принципи – те, що привело його до Церкви.
Те, що змусило захищати УПЦ від несправедливості.
А також те, чому після початку повномасштабного вторгнення він критикує патріарха Кирила та РПЦ за їхнє ставлення до війни, до України. Це ставлення він вважає нехристиянським та несправедливим.
Ще Валерій закоханий у музику, мистецтво. Він завжди був відданий громаді, ближньому і тій красі, яку знаходив у музиці, у людях, у добрій публіцистиці.
Крім своєї основної діяльності, присвяченої захисту Української Православної Церкви, він сам брав активну участь у церковному житті на своєму приході. Упродовж 17 років він був регентом храму св. апостолів Петра та Павла у Києві. Під його керівництвом було створено професійний хор із найкращих вокалістів України.
Валерій - багатодітний батько. У нас троє дітей. Наш син Іван довгий час був у храмі паламарем, а я, його дружина, та старша дочка Марія співаємо на кліросі.
Якщо описати його кількома словами – то це дуже стримана, буквально тиха людина, яка любить свою справу, вдумлива, добра і незвичайно принципова. Ми, його родина і друзі, знаємо, що ця принциповість виходить із глибокої віри. Захищати правду, захищати гнаного, захищати християнські принципи – у цьому Валерій.
Цим він займався у СПЖ. І за це його тепер судять.

#Valeriy is one of those individuals who cannot conceive of life without the Church, both within its walls and beyond.
With a background in music, he graduated from the Kyiv State Conservatory as a musicologist. Until recently, he served as a sound engineer and music editor at the #Orthodox television channel GLAS.
Valeriy embodies Christian morality, striving to live in accordance with the expectations set by the Lord—living by truth and the commandments of the Savior. This is attested by everyone who knows him, without exception.
For him, living means living in a Christian manner, and only so.
These strict principles led him to the Church and compelled him to defend the UOC from injustice and iniquity. These principles left him disillusioned and critical of Patriarch Kirill and the ROC for their stance on the war and Ukraine after the Russian full-scale invasion, which he finds unchristian and unjust.
Valeriy is deeply passionate about music and the arts. He has always been devoted and sensitive to the community, to his fellow beings, and to the beauty he finds in music, people, and excellent journalism.
In addition to his primary dedication to defending the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, he actively participated in the church life of his parish. For 17 years, he has served as the choir director at the Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Kyiv, where he formed a professional choir comprising some of Ukraine's finest vocalists.
Valeriy is a father of a large family. We have three children. His son Ivan served as a sexton in the church for a long time, while me, his wife, and eldest daughter Maria sing in the choir.
Trying to describe him in a few words, one might say he is incredibly reserved, almost silent, quiet, and deeply passionate about his craft, thoughtful, kind, and remarkably principled. We, his family and friends, do know that this sense of principle emanates from his profound faith. Valeriy feels committed to defending truth, protecting the persecuted, and upholding Christian principles.
This is Valeriy’s gist and vibe.
This is what he dedicated himself working for the UOJ.
