Hey, here is one more reminder that we have a hot, so damn hot vacancy for Technical Artist middle to senior level open in Gamemod 😏
We are looking for Technical Artists with broad experience in game development and computer graphics in general.
The successful candidate should have good knowledge of algorithms for XGen game production.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with programmers and art teams to understand requirements and restrictions for game features
- Establish workflows for materials, destructible systems, VFX, and other systems
- Implementation and support of VFX
- Providing required tools for the art team inside the game engine
- Design unique solutions for game features
- Providing guides of best practices and creating documentation
Requirements and Skills:
- Experience with Unreal Engine 5/4
- Broad knowledge of computer graphics, experience in game development
- Understanding of new Unreal Engine 5 systems e.g., Lumen, Nanite, Niagara, Virtual texture, and other modern solutions
- Knowledge of Linear Algebra
- Ability to work independently
- Expert understanding of Blueprints and Material Editor
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of any dccs and ability to use ones for creating real-time simulations
- Understanding C++, HLSL, Python
- Experience with Chaos or other physical systems
- Understanding and experience with creating animation blueprints and control rigs
