⚠️After a disgusting provocation in the Khmelnytsky Cathedral and a brutal seizure of the shrine, local authorities are persecuting Orthodox Christians and honest citizens who dared to resist provocateurs and gangsters.
The case of the subdeacon of the cathedral Igor Slobodyan became one of the personifications of what millions of believers of the UOC are now experiencing.
Our Orthodox brother Igor protected parishioners and the clergy of the Cathedral and expelled the provocateur Artur Ananiev from the shrine.
Ananiev's crime, his attack on people and the clergyman was confirmed by the police, who opened a case against the provocateur for hooliganism.
Now lawlessness in Khmelnitsky is becoming more and more terrible. The patrolmen who drew up a report on the criminal Ananiev... were brought to disciplinary responsibility and punished. The protocol was cancelled. This is how our crooked judgment is working now.
Igor Slobodyan was put on the wanted list, and all people who could testify to the truth were intimidated.
Subdeacon Igor decided to come to the police station himself, but for this honest Christian act, the prosecutor's office demanded to arrest him.
Thanks to God, the judges had conscience, and Igor was released on a personal commitment.
Now the real hero is waiting for a trial. An Orthodox Christian will be judged for stopping a criminal's mess in a church.
