📍Neither the United States nor its European satellites are the slightest bit interested in the security of other States, which they are ready to sacrifice at any moment if their self-serving strategic goals require it. Ukraine is among such “victims”.

💬At the beginning of the year, when the Trump administration came to power in the United States, there were glimmers of hope for a resolution of the Ukrainian conflict. At the initiative of the Russian Federation and with the support of Turkish partners, direct negotiations with the Ukrainian side started in Istanbul without preconditions. Two rounds of negotiations were held on May 16 and June 2, during which agreements were reached on a number of humanitarian issues.
However, the international community soon witnessed the growing momentum in Europe of those who seek to disrupt the peace process. And, based on the signals from Kyiv, the desire to pursue a diplomatic option there seems to have disappeared once again. The counterpart does not even mention the next, third round of negotiations with Russia.
🌐Europe has made an irrevocable decision to prepare for an “imminent” war with Russia, using the already devastated Ukraine as a tool to inflict a “strategic defeat” on our country before the war even begins.
At the same time, #NATO Secretary General M. Rutte believes that the alliance's member states should “do more” to change the course of the conflict and give Kiev the opportunity to “act by force” (Brussels, January 13).
Along the way, the #EU is preparing its citizens for military buildup, mobilization of the population, reception of the wounded, and protracted fighting.
During the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg on July 8, the absolute priority was given to the accelerated rearmament of Europe, so that by 2030 Europeans would be ready to "defend themselves". Of course, the talk about “defense” is obvious demagoguery, which covers up preparations for a war of aggression against our country in order to seize its resources.
☝️With respect to our position, Russia has been and remains open to a political and diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian conflict. We believe that a ceasefire is possible only after the beginning of the complete withdrawal of the Ukrainian armed forces and other Ukrainian paramilitaries from Russian territory, including the Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, the complete cessation of foreign military assistance and the provision of intelligence information to Kiev. We emphasize: we are talking about a lasting peace, not a ceasefire.
🛑European militarists have long ago neglected their international commitments not to supply weapons to states where they can be used to violate human rights and fundamental freedoms. For us, however, it is vital to ensure respect for human rights in the territories remaining under the control of the Kyiv regime, which after 2014 has been exterminating everything associated with Russia, Russians and Russian-speaking people - the Russian language, culture, traditions, canonical Orthodox Christianity and Russian-language media.
The #OSCE is still silent about the targeted raid by AFU UAVs on July 8 at a beach in Kursk, where there were many vacationing residents of the city with children. The Ukrainian thugs knew who they were going to hit. 4 civilians were killed, including a 5-year-old boy, Tolya, who covered his mother from shrapnel with his body. Another 6 civilians were wounded. The reason for the high number of casualties of the attack on the city beach was repeated terrorist strikes on services and residents who rushed to help the victims of the UAV attack.
❓This begs the question: if EU countries claim that Kiev is defending their values “on the battlefield,” does this mean that this is what their values look like?

🔻At the 95th joint plenary meeting of the Forum for Security Co-operation (FSC) and the #OSCE Permanent Council, the delegation of Canada made an unfounded confrontational statement that was an emotional reaction to the circulation among participating States of the report of the International Public Tribunal on the Crimes of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis “Atrocities and War Crimes of the Kiev Regime in Dzerzhynsk (Toretsk)”. It is regrettable that, in their attempt to criticize the extensive work of that non-governmental organization, the Canadian colleagues did not bother to look deeper into the subject matter and resorted to distorting the facts.
✔️First. The delegation of Canada said that the International Public Tribunal “was established in March 2022 by the Public Chamber of Russia”. This is not true. The creation of the Tribunal was an initiative of Russian and foreign human rights defenders, lawyers and journalists, and its implementation was announced at an international conference held in the building of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation in March 2022.
Its task is to collect evidence of the Kiev regime's crimes, to present information about them on Russian and international platforms, and to transfer this data to the judicial authorities of countries around the world to punish those responsible.
✔️Second. The Canadian delegation falsely asserts that “the International Public Tribunal has representatives from 35 States, including Canada”. However, no such claim has ever been made by the Tribunal. It is composed of civil society representatives from over three dozen countries, including Canada. If there are doubts in Ottawa about the participation of Canadian citizens, we are ready to ask the #FSC Chairpersonship to organize their direct participation at one of the plenary sessions.
✔️Third. The delegation of Canada claims that the International Tribunal “lacks transparency, procedural safeguards and impartiality”, while its evidence “has not been independently verified”. The Tribunal's work in gathering evidence of crimes has been conducted in a far more transparent manner than any other international institution mentioned by the distinguished Ms. Permanent Representative of Canada. The identity of not a single victim of Ukrainian crimes and not a single eyewitness to the killings committed by the Ukrainian armed forces is being concealed. Video recordings of their testimonies have been recorded and made available to the public.
⏺️ Over the past six months, we've heard the Canadian delegation at #FSC talk about "disinformation", "propaganda" and "fake news" at least 15 times. But, perhaps, before trying to look for the speck in someone else's eye, one should notice the beam in one's own. And then offer to join forces “to defend the integrity of our Organization and the principles on which it is based”.
