🇬🇧 More than 5,000 books will be sent to Donbass
More than 5,000 books will be sent to the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics as part of the «Books to Donbass» campaign in April. Volunteers and specialists helped collect textbooks and manuals, thematic collections and other publications on philology, history, cultural studies, philosophy, pedagogy,
psychology and Russian language teaching methods. In addition, rare primers and dictionaries, fiction for adults and children were collected for libraries and educational institutions of Donbass.

Some books will go to the libraries of the Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mikhail Tugan-Baranovsky. Other books will be delivered to the library system of Volnovakha district which has 34 reading rooms.

The humanitarian action will help restore book collections of Russian literature in new regions of Russia.

🇬🇧 The Republic of Buryatia is carrying out major repairs to school №1 in the Starobeshevsky district of the DPR. Builders are working on two classrooms at once. In one of them the roof, the facade and the canopy over the main entrance are being repaired, windows are being replaced and the adjoining territory is being paved with asphalt. In the primary school, the substructure is being reinforced and floors are being removed. It is planned to replace doors and windows and to finish the interior of the school.

Buryatia will provide the school with new furniture and necessary technical equipment. The works will be completed by the new school year.
At the moment, 147 general education institutions have already been restored in the DPR, while there are 101 schools in the LPR. In Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, 14 educational facilities have been restored.

🇬🇧The seventh team of Tula doctors arrived in Mariupol. The team consists of therapists, radiologists, laboratory diagnostics doctors and nurses. They will work from April 17 to mid-May.

Now doctors are conducting surveys of the population, identifying chronic diseases, as well as the risks of their development. If it is necessary, patients are sent for consultations.

A mobile clinic continues to operate in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), where people can take tests, undergo ultrasound, ECG, fluorography and mammography. Since February, more than 3400 Mariupol residents have undergone a comprehensive examination, 1200 citizens have received consultations from a neurologist, cardiologist and urologist.
