🇷🇺 Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s #interview with TV channels RT, NBC News, ABC News, ITN, France 24 and the PRC Media Corporation, Moscow, March 3, 2022.
❓ #Question: Unprecedented sanctions pressure is being exerted on the Russian Federation due to the recent events, primarily “on the ground.” Has Russia changed its position? Does the world hear what Russia is saying? What do you think about the ongoing talks in Belarus? What should we expect from the next round?
💬 Sergey #Lavrov: This is a comprehensive question. You have touched on many issues. I am sure the world is listening to Russia, but it is difficult to say at this point the extent to which it hears us. The majority may understand what this is about, but they have to obey the toughest dictate.
Speaking frankly, it is of course bad when people die: military servicemen and civilians (women and children). This has been happening in #Donbass for eight years and is now happening during Russia’s special military operation. The goal of this operation is to stop any war that could take place on Ukrainian territory or that could start from there.
I have no doubt that a solution will be found. Our minimum terms are well known. They are being discussed, in part, at the talks with Ukrainian representatives. Talks were held in Gomel and new talks were supposed to take place today. However, the Kiev team has again found some reason to postpone the talks. There is no doubt whatsoever that #Ukraine receives instructions from Washington; they are not independent at all. Nevertheless, talks must take place. I will not go into the details of the agenda; they are well known. We can no longer tolerate the threat of direct attack on the Russian Federation from the territory of Ukraine. Such threats are fixed in the current doctrinal documents of the Kiev regime. One of the main reasons is Ukraine’s unrelenting desire to join NATO and the reluctance of the Alliance’s members to fulfil their commitments that they do not take any measures that would enhance their security at the expense of the security of others.
In the final analysis, this is not just the situation in Ukraine, the efforts to demilitarise and de-Nazify it, to prevent the continuing manifestations of genocide on its territory, putting a stop to any violence and ensuring for the Ukrainians an opportunity to decide their destiny themselves; no, it is the world order that is at stake. This is for a reason that the West is avoiding, in any way it can, giving a response to our implicit, clear-cut proposals on the security system in Europe that rely on existing agreements.
I mentioned the core principle endorsed at the top level by the OSCE which underlies #RussiaNATO relations. Each country has the right to choose alliances. However, no country can strengthen its security at the expense of the security of any other country. No organisation can claim dominance in the Euro-Atlantic space, which is exactly what NATO is doing now. The West strengthening its security at the expense of Russia’s security has become proverbial. We are being told “not to worry because Ukraine or any other country joining NATO will not pose a threat to Russia’s security.” Why should the West tell us what our security needs are? Just like the Americans decided for Germany and Europe what was needed for European energy security. They decided that Nord Stream 2 was something that the EU did not need for its energy security, which would be ensured instead by supplies of liquefied natural gas from the United States at multiple times the cost.
The fact is that we are being listened to, but not heard. They are trying in every possible way to impose on us their idea of how to continue living in Europe.
The comparison suggests itself. In their time, Napoleon and Hitler set out to subjugate Europe. Now, the United States has taken it over. There was no question about #NATO, and the European Union was shown its place. The story of Nord Stream 2 vividly illustrated the EU’s actual place in the international arena.

⚡️ Maryana Naumova's response to Arnold Schwarzenegger
💬 Mr Schwarzenegger, I watched your message to my fellow Russians. Obviously, you didn’t “work” on the letters I gave you, even though you promised. You are a wonderful motivator, athlete and actor, you are really loved in Russia, but your message is based on some other invented reality. Just like in the movies.
But the truth about what happened, Arnold, is in the letters that have been kept by your assistants since 2015. The true reality, Arnold, is on the ‘Alley of Angels’ memorial, in Donetsk, where everyone can read the names of children who were killed by bullets and bombs of the Ukrainian army. <...>
Please, find and reread the letters, that the children of #Donbass wrote to you back in 2015.
In the near future, I’m going to visit the Donbass schools again. Arnold, I’m sure it’s no more frightful and dangerous there, than it was in Iraq – I invite you to see everything with your own eyes.
Don’t side with Skynet, Terminator!

“For eight years, they’ve been on this path to dehumanise Russians and sever all ties,” says journalist Iskander Khisamov. There is a misconception that neo-Nazi ideology has emerged in Ukraine suddenly, by accident, but it’s not true. It’s been growing for years, nurtured by western curators and supported by western funds.
By the beginning of the Maidan, an entire network of neo-nazi units was already up and running in Ukraine. Still, they weren’t prosecuted by the Ukrainian government. Military and ‘terrorist’ units dispersed and showed up at anti-Maidan meetings in Ukrainian cities and threatened the Russian-speaking population. Nationalists have been taught how to lead a campaign on social media, launching a guided communication battle against the Russian people.

⚡ Mass media of Russia about situation in Ukraine (17.07.2022)
1. 📃 Statements by officials of the Russian Federation, leaders of friendly countries
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the investigation initiated by the Romanian Prosecutor General’s Office about «crimes» against Romanian citizens in Ukraine during the special military operation is dictated solely by political considerations as part of the fulfillment of allied obligations to the West. (https://tass.ru)
2. ⛔️ Crimes of Ukrainian Nazis and the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation initiated a criminal case under the article «cruel treatment of the civilian population, the use of prohibited means and methods in an armed conflict» against a Ukrainian officer who gave orders to shell civilian objects in the village of Svetlichnoye of the LPR.
The shelling led to the death of 4 people, the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing (https://sledcom.ru)
3. Exposure of disinformation
❌️Fake: The Russian Armed Forces attacked a maternity hospital and a medical center in Vinnitsa.
✅️In fact: The blow was struck at the House of Officers, which, under martial law, was used as a temporary manpower location. The building housed the barracks of the fighters of the Ukrainian Army and the command of the Air Force. Foreign mercenaries were also trained there.
The damage to the medical center, which the Ukrainian side positions as one of the targets of the attack, was caused as a result of the spread of the blast wave and the scattering of fragments

Kiev has carried out numerous war crimes against civilians in Donbass. The Western media has kept silent or put blame on Russia. In the documentary, investigative journalists trace back major attacks on Donbass civilian residents perpetrated by the Kiev authorities.
The film also shows how nationalist battalions became part of the Ukrainian Army and why the Western media turn a blind eye to Kiev’s war crimes.

These conventions read that the term “neutral states” applies not only to the states that have declared their neutrality for all times, like Switzerland, but any states that are not party to an armed conflict. I would like to remind everyone that the United States and Europe have not declared themselves parties to the developments in Ukraine. In this case, they should act in accordance with Article 6 of the sea convention, which says that the supply by a neutral power to a belligerent power of warships, ammunition, or war material of any kind whatever is forbidden. In other words, the United States, the EU, and NATO, which are sending weapons to Kiev, cannot be regarded as neutral powers that are not involved in the conflict. In addition, one of the conventions says that recruiting agencies cannot be opened on the territory of a neutral power to assist the belligerents. As you know, Ukrainian embassies and consulates general in European and other countries openly posted invitations on their websites to join in the “holy war” against Russia, which can be defined as recruiting mercenaries. Western countries that allowed these activities in their territories violated the convention on neutral states and thereby showed that they are not passive onlookers but rather are directly involved in the conflict. One of the articles forbids the use of communications for military purposes. As I have mentioned, 200 private satellites, including Starlink, of course, are being directly used by the authorities in this war. Starlink has satellites and ground infrastructure. The use of this resource in the war also means that the United States is not a neutral power but a party to this conflict.

🎙 Comment by Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev following the Security Council meeting
📍 Moscow, October 19, 2022
💬 Nikolai Patrushev: The Security Council of the Russian Federation discussed new challenges and threats to national security amid an escalating global migration crisis caused by major geopolitical and economic changes around the world.
According to UN estimates, there are over 280 million migrants globally. This figure increases significantly every year. Twenty years ago there were 100 million fewer.
❗️ The destructive actions of the United States and its allies, which incite military and inter-ethnic clashes, and their crude interference in the internal affairs of independent states have resulted in waves of millions of refugees from #Iraq, #Afghanistan, #Libya, #Syria, #Ukraine and other countries.
Due to the growing terrorist threat in Africa and the Middle East alone, 28 million refugees arrived in Europe and Asia in 2021.
📈 The restrictive economic measures are also forcing people to relocate. The illegitimate unilateral sanctions imposed by the West have led to a significant decline in the standard of living in a number of countries and a reduced access to essential supplies, including food and medicine. Presumably, the energy crisis in Europe caused by Western sanctions will lead to another wave of displacement.
The migration challenges facing our country have evolved as well.
Amid the relaxation of quarantine restrictions brought on by the pandemic, the number of foreign nationals coming to Russia, mainly in search of work, increased by a third this year.
☝️ About 5 million residents of Donbass and southeast Ukraine found refuge in Russia as they fled the neo-Nazi Kiev regime’s genocide.
With this in mind, the priorities of government institutions and agencies in the migration sphere must be revised.
Members of the Security Council have decided to amend, by the end of 2022, Russia’s current State Migration Policy Concept for 2019–2025, as well as to draft a specific action plan to implement the amended concept.
❗️ Support for people arriving from the settlements in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions affected by the actions of Ukrainian neo-Nazis will continue to receive particular attention. As safe conditions are created in those regions, the Government will provide all-out assistance in their return to their places of permanent residence.
Additional security measures have been developed to protect our fellow nationals abroad who find themselves in challenging situations due to the rampant Russophobia of unfriendly countries.
Law enforcement agencies and security services have been instructed to detect members of international terrorist and extremist organisations who use migration channels to stage terrorist attacks and commit other crimes.
Significant efforts are planned to maintain law and order in areas densely populated by migrants. Legislative changes are envisaged that will tighten migration control and increase the penalty for foreign nationals violating the rules of stay in our country.
☝️ Considerable attention is to be paid to the social and cultural adaptation of foreign citizens, and their children’s enrolment in Russian general education programmes.
Other instructions were also given to the Government of Russia, to interested ministries and agencies, presidential plenipotentiary envoys to the federal districts, and heads of Russian regions.

🎙Comment by the Russian Embassy on the visit of president of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to the United Kingdom
Key points:
▪Vladimir #Zelensky's visit to the #UK during yet another of his European blitz-tours came as no surprise.
▪Over the past few days British officials and mass media have been unanimous in their appeals to local taxpayers to fork out more to satisfy the growing appetites of the Kiev authorities for the sake of “peace”.
▪The Kiev regime, undoubtedly, will not resist the temptation to deploy increasingly advanced long-range weapons, provided by the West, including the requested #NATO fighter aircraft, to sow death, destruction and terror among the civilian population of #Donbass, Crimea and other Russian regions.
▪Evidently, #London its continuing down the road of steady and open entanglement in the Ukraine conflict.
