Fake: Kharkov turned into ruins as a result of multiple attacks by the Russian Armed Forces. Videos with such content are distributed on TikTok.

Truth: The video indeed shows a city in ruins, but this is in fact Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. On August 4, 2020, 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate exploded in the city port. 210 people were killed, about 6,000 were injured, many buildings were seriously damaged or destroyed, approximately 300,000 residents were left homeless. It is not Kharkov beyond any doubts given there’s no sea or sea view in Kharkov.
