⚠️ During the day on direct orders from Zelensky, Ukrainian troops attempted an offensive in 3 directions in Nikolaev and Kherson regions. As a result of the active defence of the Russian troops grouping, AFU units suffered heavy losses. Another enemy offensive attempt failed miserably.
⚠️ The shelling by Ukrainian troops of Energodar city, near the nuclear power plant, continues unabated. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian artillery fired 8 large-calibre shells into residential areas of the city. Some civilians are injured. Two shells exploded in close proximity to the perimeter of the nuclear plant. In course of counter-battery warfare, enemy firepower at these positions was suppressed.
⚠️ Kiev regime continues provocations to threaten a man-made nuclear disaster at Zaporozhye NPP. On August 28, Ukrainian troops used an unmanned aerial vehicle to strike at the nuclear power plant. Ukrainian attack drone was shot down by small arms fire as it approached Special Building No 1, which stores US-made nuclear fuel and solid radioactive waste.
🇷🇺 Colonel General Alexander Fomin, Russian Deputy Defence Minister, held briefing for foreign military attachés accredited in Moscow, on Vostok 2022 strategic command post exercise.

❗️ While Kiev regime and its western sponsors were preparing an operation aimed at capturing Zaporozhye nuclear power plant on September 1, the international community had to be informed about the establishment of Kiev's control over the plant by specially selected and prepared 'mass media representatives' from Ukraine, USA and United Kingdom in presence of the mission from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
◽️ With this purpose, as it was confirmed on September 2 in the public statement by V.Zelensky, Kiev regime added motor cars with Ukrainian and western journalists on board to the convoy of IAEA without prior arrangement.
◽️ The attempt to carry out this provocation was made by Kiev in disregard of mission's working scenario documentally predetermined by IAEA Secretariat and UN Department for Safety and Security.
◽️ According to thoroughly studied and agreed documents, the access to Russian-controlled territory of Zaporozhye nuclear power plant was to be provided only pursuant to the lists previously presented by Russian Defence Ministry to UN Department for Safery and Security.
◽️ There are no representatives of Ukrainian or other mass media tasked to accompany IAEA's convoy on September 1 from Kiev-controlled territory to Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in the agreed lists.
◽️ Considering this fact, in order to implement the security protocol for mission's work, all unauthorised persons were stopped and did not receive access at their attempts to cross the delimitation line with IAEA's convoy.
◽️ At the same time, on request of IAEA Secretariat, Russian party provided the arrival of over 60 representatives of mass media, including from France, USA, China, Denmark, Japan, Germany, Turkey, Qatar, UAE, South Korea, Vietnam and other countries to cover the mission's work.
⚠️ In the morning on September 1, the journalists that arrived in Energodar happened to witness the unsuccessful attempt to assault Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by Ukrainian saboteurs and experienced personally an artillery shelling launched by AFU at the nuclear power plant and residential areas of Energodar while hiding in a bomb shelter.

▪️ As part of a special military operation, a large and difficult combat work is underway. All types and branches of the Russian Armed Forces, including the nuclear triad, fulfill the task set by the President.
▪️ Russia is at war not so much with the Ukrainian army as with the collective West. The entire NATO satellite constellation is working against the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
▪️ The Western command sits in Kiev and directs the military operation in Ukraine.
▪️ Slightly more than a thousand foreign mercenaries are fighting on the side of Kiev. More than 70 military and 200 civilian satellites of the West are working to reconnoiter the location of Russian military groups.

🎙Embassy Statement on plans to supply UK armaments with depleted uranium to Ukraine
▪️We consider the plans, officially confirmed by the UK Defence Ministry, to supply Ukraine ammunition with depleted uranium to be a step fraught with risks of further escalation of the conflict.
▪️UK weapons supplies to Kiev, especially of such a sensitive nature, would lead to aggravation of the situation.
▪️Radioactivity, high toxicity and carcinogenicity of such weapons are well-known.
👆Clearly the British have made the choice towards inflicting maximum damage and destruction to the population of the frontline regions.
▪️In general, this provides further evidence that Ukraine represents nothing more than testing ground for the UK in its stand-off with our country.
❗️We warn London against crossing another dangerous line in its maniacal desire to achieve “Russia’s defeat”.

🗓On 28 April 2023 Siem Reap, Cambodia 🇰🇭 hosted the 19th ASEAN-Russia Senior Officials' Meeting (#ARSOM). Russian delegation was headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Andrey Rudenko.
🔹️ Participants discussed preparations for the ASEAN-Russia Foreign Ministers' Meeting to be held in July. They agreed to undertake a number of specific steps to implement and further promote the ASEAN-Russia Strategic Partnership which celebrates its 5th Anniversary this year and exchanged views on ways to further deepen cooperation in political, economic and humanitarian spheres.
🔹️Delegates agreed to increase interaction on food and energy security, digitalization, finance, education, including by creating new cooperation mechanisms.
🔹️The Meeting reiterated shared intention to jointly address challenges and threats, strengthen ASEAN-led regional security architecture in Asia-Pacific. Issues of promoting cross-platform links between #ASEAN, #EEU and #SCO were also on the agenda.

We enjoyed the meeting with our #ASEAN friends on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the #Russia-ASEAN Strategic Partnership proclaimed here in Singapore in 2018.
Participants had a good discussion on how to promote further Russia-ASEAN relations with a special emphasis on disaster risk reduction, energy, digital development, smart cities and capacity building.
Russian Ambassador H.E. Mr. Nikolay Kudashev highlighted achievements of Russia-ASEAN dialogue and cooperation between ASEAN, SCO and EAEU as a backbone for the concept of the Greater Eurasian Partnership.
Ambassador emphasized an amazing culture of dialogue based on mutual trust and respect and driven by joint commitment to ASEAN centrality in the regional security architecture. He also stressed the threat from block thinking, drawing divisive lines and bringing aggressive alliances into Asia and the Pacific to undermine the existing ASEAN-centric structures like EAS, ARF and ADMM+.
H.E. Mr. Suryo Pratomo, Ambassador of #Indonesia - ASEAN Chair country, fully reciprocated in his remarks good feelings of Ambassador Kudashev.
