Посол России в Камбодже А.В.Боровик принял участие в организованной Торговой палатой Камбоджи совместно с Деловым консультативным советом АСЕАН церемонии официального запуска предстоящего в ноябре с.г. в Пномпене Делового инвестиционного саммита АСЕАН и присуждения Деловой премии АСЕАН в 2022 г.

В ходе мероприятия с приветствиями выступили Министр торговли Королевства Пан Сорасак, председатель Торговой палаты Кит Менг.

On 29 June 2022 H.E. Mr. Anatoly Borovik, Ambassador of Russia to Cambodia took part in the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce arranged in cooperation with ASEAN Business Advisory Council official launching of ASEAN Business and Investment Summit 2022 and ASEAN Business Award 2022, scheduled for November in Phnom Penh.

During the event, H.E. Mr. Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce of the Kingdom, and H.E. Mr. Kith Meng, President of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce delivered the welcoming remarks.

The ceremony was also attended by representatives of the Cambodian central ministries and institutions, business circles, heads of the foreign diplomatic missions.

💬 The goal of the Kiev regime is to strike the residential areas of cities with unguided weapons. This is far from the first time something similar has happened.

We understand that these actions of the regime in Kiev were not only agreed upon with its western superintendents but were also most likely prompted by them. They do this to force us into striking back in a similar fashion so they can carry on hyping their anti-Russian hysteria.

We have abstained from making such steps, but we will be monitoring these developments very carefully. Those who have been acting in this fashion should be aware that they will have to pay a hefty price should these provocations continue.

Отмечены продолжающиеся случаи использования украинскими боевиками гражданской инфраструктуры в военных целях и мирного населения в качестве «живых щитов», организации провокаций против нашей страны.

On 29 June 2022 the Embassy of Russia to Cambodia organized via videoconference a briefing for the representatives of the ministries and institutions, analytical centers and media of the Kingdom on the issue of Ukraine.

During the event, the Press-Attaché and Deputy Military Attaché
to the diplomatic mission informed about the course of the special military operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. The facts of the use by the Ukrainian militaries of the civilian infrastructure in military purposes and civilians as human shields were presented.

Moreover, the briefing expounded the causes of the current food and energy crisis in the world, commented on the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the 14th BRICS Summit and BRICS Plus Meeting.

The Embassy officials answered the questions of the local press.

🇷🇺🇲🇳On 5 July at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Batmunkh Battsetseg, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov paid a working visit to Ulaanbaatar.

During the talks, the heads of the foreign ministries discussed the state and prospects for the development of Russian-Mongolian relations in the sphere of fulfillment of the agreements, reached earlier by the leaders of the two countries.

A thorough exchange of views took place, covering the topical issues of the global and regional agenda. There is an unprecedented risk of developing bilateral cooperation in the international arena, including within the framework of the UN, the EAEU, the SCO and other multilateral forums. The parties substantially discussed the further prospects of the development of bilateral interactions at the international level, including within the US, EAEU, SCO and other multilateral frameworks.

⚠️Ukrainian armed formations, by using chemical industry facilities to house their units and military equipment, are deliberately creating conditions for man-made accidents that could affect thousands of civilians:

🔹in Nikolaev, militants have equipped artillery and MLRS positions on the territory of the UkrGIAP company (Vladimir Stanko Street);

🔹in Kharkov, territorial defence units and heavy weaponry are deployed at Kharkov Khimprom LTD. (Promyshlennaya Street);

🔹in Odessa, armoured vehicles and large-calibre artillery of AFU units are deployed in the immediate vicinity of Odessa Port Refrigerator (Customs Square str.).

❗️Once again, we call on the world community, the United Nations, the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and other international organisations to influence official Kiev and take effective measures to prevent Ukrainian armed formations from using chemically hazardous facilities for military purposes.

On 6 July 2022 H.E. Mr. Anatoly Borovik, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Cambodia took part in the Diplomatic Briefing on the Outcomes of the Second Working Visit to Naypyidaw by the Special Envoy of the ASEAN Chair on Myanmar by H.E. Mr. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom.

Among the participants were representatives of the Cambodian Foreign Ministry, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country.

🇷🇺🇻🇳On 6 July Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov paid a visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, where he held talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Bui Thanh Son, and meetings with the top leadership of the country.

A wide range of matters of Russian-Vietnamese relations was discussed, including political dialogue, trade, economic, scientific and technical ties, interactions in the field of defense and security, and humanitarian exchanges.

The parties focused on further steps to promote a comprehensive strategic partnership, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. In this context, special attention was attached to the implementation of the agreements following
the visit of the President of the Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc to Russia on 29 November-2 December 2021.
