🇷🇺🇿🇦Yesterday we saw off the group of South African professors to Moscow, where they will take part in the Russian language and culture course
🛫The Russian language and culture programme is scheduled for 3 weeks and organised for the first time by the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology and its regional partners.
The main goal of the programme is to strengthen linguistic, cultural and educational ties between Russia and African countries through culture immersion and development of joint inter-university projects.
About 100 professors from 9 African states will spend 3 days in Moscow and then South Africans leave for a training program in Belgorod. The participants of the programme will not only take a Russian language course, but also visit a number of research organisations, museums and natural heritage sites.

🇷🇺🇿🇦 For the first time the South African team participated in the II International Geological Championship “GeoChallenge”!
The Championship took place in Ufa, the Republic of Bashkortostan, on 2-9 September and gathered around 250 geologists across Russia and countries abroad.
🎉 During the week the South African team comprised of 7 students from different universities across the country completed 6 theory and 5 field assignments.
The participants also had a chance to get to know more about Russian traditions and culture and visit incredible sightseeing places on the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
✨ Congratulations to the team from South Africa, which demonstrated deep knowledge and excellent results.
🤝 We hope that next year more South Africans will show interest in the Championship and get a chance to travel to Russia!

🏆Congratulations to the South African team on the successful participation in the IV International Financial Security Olympiad!
👩💻On 30 September – 4 October 2024 the final stage of the IV International Financial Security Olympiad was held at the federal territory “Sirius”. It gathered about 600 participants from 36 countries.
The Olympiad is held with the support of Russian President Vladimir Putin and is aimed at popularising knowledge about modern methods of protecting assets – from personal to state ones.
The extensive program, in parallel with the tasks of the final stage, included conferences, master classes and sport competitions of international level, dedicated to banking security, the fight against pyramid schemes, operations in the crypto market and other issues. The participants met with potential employers, went on excursions and even had time for sport activities.
🇷🇺🇿🇦Congratulations to the team from South Africa, which for the third year demonstrates extensive knowledge and excellent results. Out of ten participants, six took the Olympiad tasks in the field of “law”, two in “international relations” and two in “information security”.
