🇷🇺 Roscosmos expands collaboration with Africa
Yuri Borisov, General Director of Roscosmos, has announced promising opportunities for African countries to collaborate on innovative space projects.
Over the past two years, Roscosmos has actively engaged with African nations, and the interest is stronger than ever.
👉 At a recent event with attendees of the General Aerospace Course at Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), Borisov highlighted Roscosmos's readiness to support and collaborate on various initiatives.
🛰 He mentioned that Roscosmos is open to partnering with African countries, specifically on projects involving multi-satellite constellations and the Milky Way near-Earth space control system. Additionally, Roscosmos plans to establish a Russian orbital station and invites interested countries, including those in Africa, to participate in the project.
☝️ The Russian state corporation is prepared to offer opportunities for experiments at the future station, support the construction of national modules for foreign partners, and provide cosmonaut training.
🤝 Russian side expressed its readiness to work with space organizations from Angola, Mali, South Africa, and Zimbabwe who are currently undergoing training at MAI.
