Talking points:

#Ukraine

The decision to evict the monks of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, approved by Ukraine’s political leadership, is the peak of Kiev’s years-long anti-church policy.

These actions violate at least a dozen universally recognised international legal documents on the freedom of belief.

#ICC

The ICC discredited itself long ago. It carries out political orders of its sponsors. It is also clear who these sponsors are. They are the Western countries. This has nothing to do with justice.

Russia does not cooperate with the International Criminal Court, nor will it ever do so, despite calls we are hearing from them.

#DepletedUranium

The UK decision to supply Ukraine with depleted uranium munitions, show that neither Kiev nor its Western handlers are interested in resolving the conflict.

They do not care what their scorched-earth tactics are doing to Ukraine. They’re now turning it into a source of radiation pollution.

Talking points:

#BlackSeaInitiative

According to the statistics of the Joint Coordination Centre in Istanbul, as of March 22 of this year, more than 25 million tonnes of grain and related foodstuffs had been exported from Ukraine.

Who was the main recipient of these products? Needy countries? No, it’s not them. The biggest recipient of the goods is the European Union (41 percent of the total exports).

The Western countries and companies started with the high standards and lofty words about helping the needy and starving and have come all the way to downright stealing. This makes perfect sense for imperialists and the way they treat their colonies.

#ICC

It is clear that the ICC Prosecutor and judges obediently follow the line laid down by their Western sponsors.

This body will never investigate real crimes. We will wait in vain for an investigation into crimes committed in Iraq, where the death toll among peaceful civilians reached hundreds of thousands, and in Afghanistan, where a lot of civilians died as well.

#IOC

Unfortunately, the IOC and other international institutions where US satellites and other officials controlled by Washington have entrenched themselves have had no qualms hiding behind their would-be commitment to ensuring that the 2024 Olympics are held in peace, all while seeking to divide athletes in terms of their political loyalties.

The effort to harass Russian athletes, our teams and coaches for all these years can be lethal for the honest principles of the Olympic movement.

Talking points:

#Ukraine

There is no end to Western countries pumping weapons into Ukraine, demanding that Ukraine continue fighting, disregarding the victims. The Anglo-Saxons aren’t hiding the fact that a truce is unacceptable to them (while insisting and reiterating that they are not a party to the conflict). They are expecting Kiev to take decisive steps and be ready for a bloody massacre “to the last Ukrainian.”

The Ukrainian army and foreign mercenaries are using weapons supplied by the West to destroy the civilian populations of the DPR, LPR, and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, including women and children. Ukrainian artillery carries out regular strikes on residential areas and civilian infrastructure, and the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is being shelled with all the ensuing threats of a nuclear catastrophe.

#SCO

Saudi Arabia has completed the necessary procedures under a memorandum on granting SCO dialogue partner status to Riyadh. This has become yet another step to consolidate the entire potential for joint, mutually beneficial and safe development, for strengthening connectivity in a vast region where countries of the SCO Family are located.

In turn, Russia reaffirms its readiness to actively assist Saudi Arabia and other SCO dialogue partners in exploring the opportunities provided by the SCO for confident and stable national development.

Talking points:

#Ukraine

The West says openly that they will do everything possible to facilitate a successful Ukrainian counteroffensive, supposedly due to begin in the near future. They are not hiding the fact that they are behind all these plans. They have repeatedly noted their involvement in tactical target acquisition, and now they are creating a strategic disposition.

Representatives from the “collective West” are also demanding openly that Russia sustain the maximum possible losses. So, they are reaffirming their direct involvement in the conflict once again.

#BlackSeaInitiative

Russia extended it for only 60 days, arguing that it did not consider its implementation as satisfactory. We made our position clear. We received a package of proposals from the UN Secretary-General addressed to President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the development, implementation and further progress of the Black Sea initiative.

All of this will be thoroughly analysed. The decision will be made based on the results of interdepartmental study.

Talking points:

#Ukraine #Terrorism

Stripping people of their basic right - the right to life - the Kiev regime continues to shell peaceful Russian cities.

Donetsk, which suffered the most during nine years of Kiev's aggression against the Russian-speaking people of Donbass, is seriously affected by the bombing attacks. There are daily reports about the Armed Forces of Ukraine killing children, women, and elderly people. This in no way diminishes the value of the lives or detracts from the loss of lives of men who are defending Donbass.

The developments in Ukraine once again show the timeliness of the special military operation, which, as the Russian leadership has said, will continue and its goals and objectives will be fulfilled.

#France #PoliceBrutality

I have no intention of interfering in the domestic affairs of France. I will emphasise for the second time that this is not in the tradition of Russian diplomacy. I am just wondering how justified Paris’s regular lectures to various sovereign states are amid such an acute socio-political confrontation and an actual split in French society.

I am not talking about Russia alone although the Elysee Palace is constantly trying to teach us something in public, on social media or at the platforms of international agencies. Every state goes through its own path of development. This is a historical process. It overcomes crises proceeding from its own national interests, traditions and peculiarities. This must evoke respect. To have respect it is necessary to understand this.

Talking points:

#Ukraine

Before May 9, Vladimir Zelensky cancelled Victory Day, which the majority of Ukrainian citizens hold sacred, and declared Europe Day instead. <...> By taking this decision, Vladimir Zelensky has cast a shadow over the feat accomplished by millions of Ukrainians and betrayed the memory of those who stood up to defend this land from a fascist Europe.

History develops in cycles. Eighty years after the rout of Nazism, we are again fighting this horror reborn in the West and Ukraine. This time, the enemy has tried to set against us a certain part of the population in the originally Russian areas by inculcating in them the idea of ethnic superiority. The memory of our fallen ancestors cannot allow us to let the neo-Nazis in Ukraine gain the upper hand. The declared goals are important as never before. As the Russian leadership said, they would be implemented.

#Pakistan

We are closely monitoring the situation in Pakistan following the May 9 arrest of Imran Khan, former prime minister and chairman of Pakistan’s largest opposition party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (Pakistan Movement for Justice), on corruption charges. We are seriously concerned about media reports of violent attacks by protesters on police and miliary facilities in the country.

We call on the sides to settle their differences peacefully. We hope that the large-scale protests will be held without major clashes and that the situation will normalise soon.

Talking points:

#Ukraine

The West has made its role in the conflict abundantly clear: Ukraine serves merely as a tool and Ukrainians as pawns it is ready to sacrifice in its standoff with Russia. The West has sacrificed literally everything on the altar of its morbid geopolitical ambitions. They are “exceptional”. Only they can govern everyone. Nobody has the right to take independent decisions, be it domestic affairs or foreign policy. The previous times of colonialism and imperialism have not receded into the past but rather are being converted to a modern format.

#UNESCO

In its commitment to confrontation, the collective West continues intentionally undermining mechanisms underpinning interstate relations and ignoring the diplomatic norms by using all kinds of dirty tricks. Paris followed in the footsteps of Washington by adopting bad visa practices. As a country hosting the UNESCO Headquarters, France failed to issue visas on time to several Russian representatives, preventing them from attending the 216th Session of the UNESCO Executive Board. Visa-related incidents of this kind with their obvious political bias are becoming a regular occurrence. By doing this, Paris has intentionally failed to honour its obligations as a host country.
