✍️ On 22 May, the Perm State Humanitarian Pedagogical University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Empire Partner Foundation, South African non-governmental organisation.
🇷🇺🤝🇿🇦 The agreement is aimed to promote the Russian language and educational programmes in Russian, popularize Russian culture in South Africa and launch joint research projects.
✅ The event was attended in an online format by representatives of the administration of Perm State Humanitarian Pedagogical University, Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Russian Embassy in South Africa, Rossotrudnichestvo and South African Empire Partner Foundation.

✅ WoodEX for Africa has become the leading platform for the timber and forestry industry in Africa in its 11 years of running. This year the event is combined with the Deck & Flooring Expo and African Construction Expo.
✅ The companies present their products at the stands paying particular attention to plywood products used in the furniture industry and laser cutting. They intend to increase sales in the African market.

State Museum of African Art to Open in Moscow
The Russian State Museum of Oriental Art is planning to open a new museum of African Culture. This decision is regarded as a considerable step in evolving the strategic partnership between Russia and African countries.
🔹There will be expositions in the museum dedicated to the cultures of tropical Africa, the art of East and North Africa, with the history of diplomatic relations with Russia being the part of the exhibition.
🔸 Joint exhibitions with Ethiopia, Tanzania, Mali, Sudan, and Cameroon as participants are planned as well.
🎭 The museum owns approximately 2,000 African arts and crafts that are ready to be presented to Russian and foreign citizens.
☝️ One of the crucial aspects of the project is to show the role of the USSR and Russia in supporting the struggle of African peoples for independence.
