⚡️ Russia's EMERCOM delivers yet another batch of humanitarian aid to those in need in the Gaza Strip.
Aboard the latest plane were 30 tonnes of food supplies and personal care products. The aid was handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, which will deliver it to the people in the conflict zone.
In total Russia has already shared 190 tonnes of humanitarian aid. More to come.

🇷🇺 Russia's EMERCOM to deliver 27 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip.
An IL-76 aircraft of the Russian Emergencies Ministry already left Makhachkala for the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The humanitarian assistance is organised on the instructions of Russia's President Vladimir Putin.
The aid will be handed over to representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society. They will redirect it to the to the people of the Gaza Strip.

🇷🇺❤️🇿🇦 Russian Embassy’s staff and the Russian Orthodox church community members took part in a charity event.
🎄On 3 December 2023, the representatives of the Russian Embassy together with the volunteers from the Perish of the St.Sergius Russian Orthodox Church in Midrand participated in Christmas greetings at the New Jerusalem Children’s Home.
🕊 The activists organised Christmas gifts and sweet treats for 120 young residents of the facility. A group of Russian compatriots performed South African and Russian musical hits for the children.
🐉 A series of master classes on creating Christmas toys including a large green paper dragon – a symbol of the 2024 year – were organized for the kids.
🙏 Russian community will carry on supporting the children’s home. Russian Orthodox Church has been assisting the Home since 2018.

🎄☃️🎅 On 22 December 2023, the diplomats of the Russian Embassy in South Africa accompanied by Ded Moroz (Father Frost, Russian version of Santa Claus) congratulated the kids from the Bophelong Orphanage on the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays.
🎁 Boys and girls were gifted with stuffed toys and the wireless headphones, and the orphanage received two DVD players.
🎄 This charity event is not a formality for the employees of the Russian 🇷🇺 Embassy in South Africa. We are driven by the feeling that every adult should have the desire to make children happier, especially on Christmas eve.

A ship with a humanitarian cargo of 23,000 tonnes of fertilizers sent by the 🇷🇺 Uralchem fertilizer producer group for Zimbabwe has arrived at the port of Beira in Mozambique.
The shipment for Zimbabwe became the 4th free-of-charge supply of fertilizers from the Uralchem group to Africa.
The company has already sent more than 100 thousand tons of fertilizers to the continent. Over 77 thousand tons of this volume were sent to Malawi 🇲🇼, Kenya 🇰🇪 and Zimbabwe 🇿🇼
☝️ In general, the Uralchem group intends to donate about 300 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers to developing countries.

🌾 The grain harvest in Russia in 2023 is estimated to be 1️⃣4️⃣7️⃣ million tons, with wheat accounting for 9️⃣5️⃣ million tons, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko has reported.
📈 The overall agricultural production volume increased by 2% last year. And the overall agricultural export volume increased by 14% in monetary terms.
☝️The share of payments in rubles for agricultural product exports from Russia reached 7.8% in 2023. Among others, Syria, Kazakhstan, and Iran purchase food in rubles.
