📄 Russian Foreign Ministry's comprehensive 2022 Report on:

Situation with the Glorification of Nazism
Spread of Neo-Nazism
Other Practices that Contribute to Fuelling Contemporary Forms of Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance

READ IN FULL (in PDF)

The Report comprises national overviews of the situation regarding the aforementioned disturbing manifestations in 43 countries (in alphabetic order): from Australia to the neo-Nazi infested Ukraine.

Based on data from international and national sources the document summarizes the factual information on new manifestations in focal countries. Selected national overviews of note:

Ukraine
USA
Canada
Estonia
Poland

In a number of states, state policies and media campaigns have increased the level of historical revisionism aimed at distorting and rewriting history, falsifying the USSR's key role in securing the Victory over Nazism. The importance of this historic event for all mankind can hardly be overestimated.

⛔️🤚Debunking fakes and disclosing propaganda coming from #Ukraine and from the #West about Russia's #Specialmilitaryoperation #Bucha #Izyum #Kupyansk #Fake #FakeNews
🎙 Read excerpts from the statement of Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE Maxim #Buyakevich “On dangerous provocations by the Kiev regime with the support of the Western alliance of OSCE participating States and on the ongoing crimes by it against the civilian population” (meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, 27 October 2022)

☢️ At today's meeting of the #OSCE Permanent Council, we shared the information of the Russian Defense Ministry about the preparation by the #Kievregime of a provocation with the use of a "dirty bomb"

☝️ The hysterical reaction of Ukrainian and Western opponents spoke for itself: For them, Zelensky’s nuclear ambitions are also a tool to destabilize regional security by creating new threats to #Ukraine's neighbors

❗️ The use of a "dirty bomb" in current events in #Ukraine can only be beneficial for foreign handlers of the #Kievregime. They are looking for a pretext to openly interfere militarily with #NATO forces

⚡️ Threats to use #NATO's military potential against #Russia have become noticeably more frequent - from EU top diplomat J.Borrell to American generals and others. This is a dangerous "playing with fire" which escalates tensions

🤚 At the meeting of the #OSCE Permanent Council on October 27, Russia called on the #Kievregime's handlers in the West to keep it from dangerous provocations and terrorist acts
🔹 The approaches and assessments of #OSCEPA President Cederfelt on #Ukraine demonstrate her intention to artificially deepen confrontation in the OSCE instead of solving problems

🔹 In biased assessments of #OSCEPA President M. Cederfelt to the situation in #Ukraine, there is no desire to comprehensively understand what is going on and see the reasons for what happened

🔹 The reason for the current serious security crisis in the pan-European space is the result of the confrontational path chosen by a number of #NATO countries long before February 2022

🔹 #OSCEPA Predsident Cederfelt is far from being objective: she hushes up crimes committed by the #Kievregime,  talking instead about so-called "Russia's attack on human rights and fundamental freedoms"

🔹 Discriminatory non-admission of Russian parliamentarians to #OSCEPA events doesn't contribute to multilateral cooperation, improvement of the situation & rapprochement of positions
🎙Read excerpts from the statement of Russian Deputy Permanent Representative of to the OSCE Maxim Buyakevich “On International Humanitarian Law in the OSCE region”

💬 The declared commitment to #IHL by a number of #OSCE countries raises reasonable doubts - their geopolitical adventures in recent years in the OSCE area and beyond suggest otherwise

◽️Widespread violations of international humanitarian law in #Ukraine did not begin in 2022, but in April 2014 with the launch of the military operation to forcefully suppress political dissent in #Donbass by the post-Maidan #Kievregime

◽️Behind the loud rhetoric defending #IHL and Helsinki principles, many Western #OSCE participating States seek to cover up their share of responsibility for encouraging their longstanding violations in #Ukraine

❗️We demand a principled response to the killing and torture of Russian servicemen in #Ukraine - we are outraged that these obvious crimes in violation of #IHL norms do not find a proper reaction from the #OSCE leadership
🎙 Read excerpts from the statement of Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE Maxim Buyakevich “On the ongoing crimes by the Kiev regime and dangerous policies of the western alliance to exacerbate tensions” (meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, 26 January 2023)

💬 For Russians, German "Leopards" in #Ukraine, no doubt, evoke obvious historical analogies. German tanks in Ukraine will follow the fate of their predecessors of 1941-1945: they will be burnt on the battlefield

🇩🇪 On January 25 in #Strasbourg, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock publicly confirmed that the collective West is now "fighting a war against Russia." It is now obvious to everyone that aggression against Russia has been planned&prepared for a long time

🇺🇸 #US and #NATO now approached a dangerous point. Their persistent course towards escalation in military confrontation in #Ukraine is a direct path to a full-scale military conflict in #Europe

🎙 Excerpts from the answers to media questions by President of Russia Vladimir Putin following his official visit to Kyrgyzstan and #CIS summit events.

#Moldova

💬 President Putin: The current political elite [of Moldova] do not regard themselves as Moldovans. They say they are Romanians and have dual citizenship. <...> I do not understand entirely what advantages Moldova would have if it pursued other development paths. <...>

We have heard recently that Moldova declined to purchase Russian gas. But it turns out, it did not, and is successfully receiving it now. And where else would they get it from? Not to mention for the prices Russia’s Gazprom offered, and we accommodated them in terms of pricing.

#SouthernCaucasus

🇦🇲 Armenia recognised that Nagorno-Karabakh is part of Azerbaijan. <...> They even referred to the 1991 treaty when the state borders of the former Soviet republics were defined as coinciding with the borders they had within the USSR. That’s it, the matter is closed.

#RussiaKyrgyzstan

🇷🇺🇰🇬 The establishment of the joint air defence system [with Kyrgyzstan] is a very important endeavour, especially bearing in mind that these are high-tech and expensive elements of the security of all our countries. Everyone expressed the desire to develop this security component.

#MiddleEast

🇵🇸🇮🇱 Palestine was once promised that a Palestinian state would be established with East Jerusalem as its capital. Decisions were taken at the UN level. They have the right to expect these promises to be kept. All of this taken together should be addressed and we should think about the people who are not to blame for the current escalation.

Russia can [assist], because we have very good relations with Israel, and we have traditionally good relations with Palestine.

#Ukraine

❗️ I do not doubt that weapons are being illegally taken out of Ukraine. The scale of corruption in Ukraine is is very high; many are seeking to buy on the black market and there are many in Ukraine seeking to sell weapons.

‼️Malta continues the predecessors' course of one-sided and biased assessments of the situation in #Ukraine. The OSCE Secretary General has blatantly taken the side of the criminal regime in Kiev, without a word of condemnation of the barbaric missile attacks in Belgorod, which resulted in the deaths of dozens of civilians, including children.

‼️In this way, Malta and #OSCE Secretariat are continuing their course towards the forced collapse of the Organization's platform, flouting their mandates.

🎙 Interview of Russia's President Vladimir Putin to TV host and Rossiya Segodnya Director General Dmitry Kiselev (March 13, 2024):

Key talking points

💬 Russia is not at the crossroads. It is on the strategic path of its development and will not deviate from its path.

#MultipolarWorld

• Many people in the world are looking at us, at what is happening in our country and in our struggle for our interests. <...> They associate our struggle for our independence and true sovereignty with their aspirations for their own sovereignty and independent development.

• This is aggravated by the fact that there is a very strong desire in Western elites to freeze the current unjust state of affairs in international affairs. They've spent centuries filling their bellies with human flesh and their pockets with money. But they must realise that the vampire ball is ending.

#Ukraine

• Are we ready to negotiate? We are. But we are not ready for talks that are based on some kind of ”wishful thinking“, but we are ready for talks based on the realities that have developed on the ground.

• We are open to a serious discussion, and we are eager to resolve all conflicts by peaceful means. However, we must be sure that this is not just another pause that the enemy wants to use for rearmament, but rather a serious conversation with security guarantees for Russia.

#US #RussiaUS

• We know what it is to have American troops on Russian soil. They are interventionists. That is how we will treat them even if they appear in the territory of Ukraine.

• I have said many times that it [achieving the goals of the special military operation & resolving the conflict] is a matter of life and death for us, while for them it is a matter of improving their tactical position in the world on the whole as well as maintaining their status among their allies in Europe in particular.

🎙 Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's interview to the newspaper "Arguments and Facts" (October 21, 2024)

Key Points:

#BRICS

• BRICS epitomises the shifts that have long been underway in the global economy. New centres of economic growth are emerging, and alongside them comes financial influence, which in turn brings political influence.

• BRICS is a consortium where no single nation leads or is led, devoid of the bureaucratic machinery akin to that observed in Brussels, where EU officials impose decisions that contravene the will and interests of several member states, failing to align with the aspirations of voters across many countries.

BRICS does not stand in opposition to any entity, nor does it orchestrate operations or initiate projects. BRICS is committed to enhancing the combined potential of its nations and devising collaborative strategies for harnessing these potentials for mutual benefit.

• What makes BRICS and other World Majority or Global East associations that do not include Western countries stand out, is that they are not created for the purpose of struggling or fighting with anyone. They are established to collectively benefit from their competitive advantages such as geographical location, shared history, cultural and humanitarian proximity <...>.

#USA

• The US is unwilling to relinquish the reins of power that they have held since World War II through the Bretton Woods institutions and through the role assigned to the US dollar in the international monetary system, even after free exchange of US dollars for gold had been cancelled.

• The key goal of the US ruling class is to make sure no one can undermine their dominance. This goal is illusory. The historical process is objectively heading in a different direction, and this has to be reckoned with.

• We are ready to interact with any administration voted in by the American people, but only if such a dialogue is mutually respectful, and both parties listen and hear what the other party has to say.

#Ukraine

• On multiple occasions, European leaders from Brussels have repeatedly made it clear that they must support Ukraine for as long as it takes, because Ukraine is fighting for the European values.

• It turns out that European leaders are still willing to uphold Nazi values, which is why denazification is not just a motto, but an objective of utmost importance.

#UN

• The United Nations is not a valiant knight expected to “charge in and extinguish the fire” upon witnessing injustice. The UN is an assembly of its member states, each with established rules, including the Security Council's veto rights. The United States has effectively exercised this right five times over the past year, blocking a resolution proposed by several countries, including Russia, demanding an immediate ceasefire. <...> Presently, the United States is taking every measure to avoid antagonising Israel.

• Nations such as India, Brazil, and African representatives should have long held permanent seats on the Security Council. This is essential to ensure representation of the World Majority.

#Finland #Sweden #NATO

• The zeal that the Finns and Swedes are showing in NATO, advocating for defeating Russia, is not only rooted in their historical instincts. They are also eager to show their Big Brothers in the North Atlantic Alliance that they have brought added value <...>.

• I am confident that reasonable people in Europe, who have learned the lessons taught by history, see this too, including in Finland and Sweden.

#Europe

• To reiterate, the so-called right-wing conservatives are loyal to their countries and their people. We will engage with anyone who approaches us with a proposal to talk, to seek common ground, and to think about how we can jointly make the lives of our citizens better.

#EurasianSecurity

• We suggest discussing the Eurasian continent-wide security architecture, emphasising the fact that its doors will be open to everyone, including countries from the West of the Eurasian continent.

📰 Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s interview with the Türkish newspaper Hürriyet, November 1, 2024

#BRICS

We welcome Türkiye’s interest in strengthening ties with BRICS. This reflects the appeal of the group that is based on respect for the UN Charter, openness, pragmatism, and non-directedness against third parties.

We support the expansion of BRICS relations with countries of the Global Majority, particularly those committed to upholding multilateral approaches, pursuing a sovereign foreign policy, and refraining from participating in unilateral sanctions.

During the Summit in Kazan, a decision was made to strengthen the current composition of BRICS by including partner countries in the group. I am confident that Türkiye can make a meaningful contribution to the ongoing development of BRICS. The parameters for Türkiye’s participation in the group will be determined by consensus, respecting the sovereign choices of all BRICS countries and Türkiye itself.

#MiddleEast

The failure to settle the long-standing Arab-Israeli conflict has sparked a new wave of violence, resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians in Gaza. The number of casualties in Lebanon reaches thousands. More and more countries are becoming embroiled in this escalating confrontation.

Russia has condemned Israel for killing political leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah, as well as high-ranking Iranian military officials. We asked the UN Security Council to give its assessment of these deeds, but this initiative was blocked by opposition from Western members of the Council.

We urge all parties to refrain from actions that could further escalate violence and lead to a situation beyond control. There will be no winners in this conflict.

The way to normalise the situation lies in halting the bloodshed and creating conditions for a political resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict based on universal international legal principles. This includes the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders. Only this solution can guarantee lasting peace in the Middle East.

#Ukraine

Russia is open to achieving a political settlement, but this should not merely lead to a temporary ceasefire; it must lead to a resolution of the conflict by eliminating its root causes. These include NATO’s eastward expansion, the creation of threats to Russia’s essential security interests, and the Kiev regime’s infringement on the rights of Russians and Russian-speaking residents of Ukraine.

At the moment, our opponents do not appear to want peace. Ukraine’s reaction to President Vladimir Putin’s peace initiative proposed in June was an invasion of the Kursk Region by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, along with airstrikes on targets in other border areas. Washington and its allies continue to provide extensive support to Kiev, discuss the possibility of using Western long-range missiles for strikes deep into Russian territory. Vladimir Zelensky has not revoked his order prohibiting negotiations with Moscow. Given these circumstances, it seems unlikely that any country, including Türkiye, will succeed in mediation efforts.

#RussiaUS

Whoever wins the election, we see no real prospects of the United States changing its Russophobic course. For our part, we will be ready for dialogue if and when the Americans demonstrate serious intentions to negotiate honestly, based on respect for each other’s interests and the principle of reciprocity.
