📹 How the Kiev regime has been killing Donbass
(a comprehensive timeline and factual evidence)
The Western mainstream media and political elites have created a metauniverse of their own as regards the sequence of events in Ukraine and Donbass - one that has nothing to do with reality.
Yet #WeRemember and with this video remind of the hard facts: the Kiev regime, installed following a West-backed coup d'état, has been shelling and attacking the residents of Donbass as well as restricting and persecuting the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine itself.
It is ever more relevant to recall these facts, considering the destructive stance of the Western nations, willing to sacrifice decades of the OSCE accomplishments and achievements towards their murky political goals. Against the backdrop of the scandalous OSCE Ministerial in Łódź happening right now - Poland as the current OSCE chair barred FM Sergey Lavrov from participation - we simply speak the truth.
👉 To get the full picture make sure to read the Russian MFA Statement and watch today's FM Lavrov's news conference on the matter.

⭐️ On this day in 1945, over 400 Soviet prisoners of war daringly escaped from #Mauthausen concentration camp in Upper Austria. This rebellion was among the biggest in World War II history.
The largest groups of prisoners at the camp were citizens of the USSR, Poland and Hungary. Soviet POWs who were earlier suspected of resistance activities, were held under the most unbearable conditions in Block 20. The prisoners were beaten, often to death, for the slightest infraction.
On the night of February 3, 1945, 419 prisoners of “Death Block” made an escape. All local units of the SA, the Wehrmacht, the Gendarmerie as well as groups of volunteers joined in their hunt. Overall, 300 escapees were caught and only 57 of them were returned alive to the camp where they were subsequently brutally tortured to death.
Former Mauthausen prisoner Nikolai Parshin wrote after the war, “The prisoners of Death Block stood up against their henchmen and escaped from the hell on earth the Nazis had made. They died with honour as warriors should. And they are not gone, they are heroes that will remain eternally alive. The memory of them will live on in our hearts forever.”
🕯 The total number of prisoners in Mauthausen was 335,000 of which 122,000 were either executed or worked, tortured or starved to death. Over 32,000 of the dead were citizens of our country.
Among those who were savagely tortured to death by the Nazis was Lieutenant General Dmitry Karbyshev. The Nazis did their worst to get him to become a collaborator, as he was an outstanding commander and an unrivalled expert in fortifications, but they failed. Dmitry Karbyhev was 64 when he died.

🕯 Today marks 8️⃣ years since prominent Ukrainian independent journalist Oles' #Buzina was murdered in cold blood in Kiev. He strongly opposed the rise of Neo-Nazism & the 2014 coup d'etat in Ukraine.
His murderers roam free with their Neo-Nazi "buddies" now in charge. Yet #WeRemember,

🕯 June 22 marks the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow in Russia.
82 years ago, at 4 am, Nazi Germany perfidiously attacked the Soviet Union after a lengthy artillery barrage and without a declaration of war. Nazi forces launched attacks along the entire length of the Soviet border, from the Barents to the Black Sea.
This is how the Great Patriotic War began, opening one of the most tragic chapters in the history of our country.
Romania and Italy sided with Germany. Slovakia, Finland and Hungary joined them in several days later. The aggressors controlled the industrial potential and other resources of virtually all the continental European countries.
The bloodiest war in history lasted 1,418 days and nights and culminated in the Victory of the Soviet Union and its allies, and it entailed the complete defeat of Axis countries.
❗️ The Soviet Union accounted for 40 percent of wartime losses. Its casualties totalled 26.6 million war dead, including over 8.7 million killed in action. The Nazis deliberately exterminated 7.42 million people on the occupied territories.
#WeRemember how, after living through the war and despite certain disagreements, the nations of the world were united by a striving to prevent another monstrous conflict in the future and to avoid the mistakes of the past.
Unfortunately, Nazi ideology has proved resilient over the decades. They are using Nazi ideology once again for monstrous geopolitical experiments aimed at containing Russia. Collaborators who found refuge in the West after the war, Nazi criminals and their young followers are brandishing the banner of these ideas today.
🕯 The Candle of Remembrance memorial event has been held every June 22 since 2009. Everyone can honour the memory of the deceased with a moment of silence, light a candle and lay flowers at a military burial site or a Great Patriotic War monument.

🕯 January 27 is the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, established on November 1, 2005 by the decision of the United Nations General Assembly, which Russia co-authored.
On this day, commemorative events are held around the world to highlight the importance of combating neoNazism, xenophobia, racism and other forms of intolerance.
The date itself was not chosen at random - on January 27, 1945, during the Vistula-Oder Operation, the Soviet soldiers liberated the Auschwitz (Oswiecim) concentration camp. According to the available data, at least 1.3 million people passed through the camp during its existence, and some 1.1 million of them were... exterminated.
❗️ The slogan on the camp’s gate, “Work Sets You Free” (in German: “Arbeit macht frei”) underlines the utter inhumanity of the Nazi criminals and their boundless cynicism.
On that day the Red Army soldiers saved more than 7,000 prisoners left in the camp.
During World War II, ~20 million people, including approximately 7.4 million Soviet citizens, were murdered as a result of the aggression in the territories occupied by the Nazi Germany. Approximately 6 million Jews were slaughtered by the Nazis solely because of their ethnicity...
The UN General Assembly Resolution A/RES/60/7 states: "The Holocaust, which resulted in the murder of one third of the Jewish people, along with countless members of other minorities, will forever be a warning to all people of the dangers of hatred, bigotry, racism and prejudice".

❗️ All this happened against the backdrop of terrible exhaustion from hunger and constant shelling by the enemy.
Children's diaries have a unique place in commemorating the resilience of ordinary people whose will to live triumphed over the oppression of the Third Reich. During this difficult time, some of the city’s children documented on paper the terrible events they witnessed day by day.
🕯 The most famous of these diaries was Tanya Savicheva's notebook, where six out of nine pages chronicle the dates of her relatives' deaths: her mother, grandmother, sister, brother and two uncles. Tragically, Tanya herself died during evacuation in the Gorky Region on July 1, 1944, at the age of 14.
Keeping a diary helped these children cope with anxiety, fear and loss. Under the onslaught of hunger, constant shelling and bombing, and the death of loved ones, a piece of paper and a pencil provided solace and support. These written accounts offer invaluable insights into the experiences of people during those terrible 872 days of the Siege.
📚 Today, on the 80th Anniversary of the lifting of the Siege, we share excerpts from the diaries of children who witnessed those tragic events.
