🇷🇺🇫🇷📞 President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.
The Russian President informed his French counterpart about the progress of the special military operation to protect the Donbass republics, including the liberation of Mariupol and the evacuation of the civilians retained by nationalists at the Azovstal plant, with the evacuation proceeding as agreed during the April 26 meeting between Vladimir Putin and #UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
During the conversation, it was noted that the #EU member countries ignore the crimes committed by the Ukrainian forces, and massive shelling of cities and communities in the Donbass region resulting in civilian casualties. The West could help stop these atrocities by influencing the Kiev government, as well as stopping arms deliveries to Ukraine, Vladimir Putin pointed out.
The two Presidents agreed to maintain contacts at various levels.

❗️👓Read the extracts from the statement of Russian Permanent Representative to the OSCE Alexander Lukashevich “To the theses of the Secretary General Council of Europe Mariya Pejčinović-Burić”, (meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, 9 June 2022):
➡️The Council of Europe is becoming actively involved in the hybrid confrontation between the West and Russia.
➡️The Council of Europe has finally lost its independence & true pan-European identity. Neoliberal dogmatism, double standards and Russophobia have turned one of the oldest organizations into an ideological appendage of #EU and a victim of bloc approaches
⏹The Council of Europe ignores & shields crimes of Kiev regime, while trying to take leading position in efforts to hold 🇷🇺 Russia accountable for far-fetched reasons. This unfortunate state of affairs forced Russia to leave #CoE
⏹Against the backdrop of #CoE degradation, we pinned our hopes on #OSCE human dimension. ❌But here, too, failure, due to fiasco of the 🇵🇱 Polish CiO to act as an “honest broker” and the bias of OSCE executive structures

🚨Read the extracts from the statement of Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE Alexander Volgarev “To the report of the OSCE High Commissioner for National Minorities Kairat Abdrakhmanov”, (meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, 7 July 2022):
🔹We are disappointed with the assessments, attitudes and interpretations of the root causes and objectives of Russia's compelled special military operation in #Ukraine contained in the report of the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities
🔹It’s true that it’s a war in #Ukraine over the past 8 years - a disgusting war against its own population elevated by the Kyiv regime to the rank of state policy, which has become one of the main causes of the current crisis in Ukraine
🔹For many years, with the active support of #US, #EU, as well as other Western countries, violence was promoted in #Ukraine, Russophobia and hatred for everything Russian, including Russian-speaking citizens of the country, were cultivated
🔹Since 2017, #Ukraine has been aggressively imposing the Ukrainian language. It has been forbidden to use any language other than Ukrainian in the field of education, the public sector, the media, in the service sector.
🔹Kiev continues its Russophobic exercise. A ban was introduced on education in Russian, the import of Russian books, and the study of Russian literature. Total Ukrainization now extends to the film industry, cultural events and the media
🔹We are concerned about the legislative initiatives of Riga in the spheres of education and historical memory. Amendments to the laws "On Education" and "On General Education" will lead to the assimilation of the Russian-speaking population of this country
🔹We are surprised by the absence of mention of Estonia in the report of OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities. The Estonian language is being imposed there, the shameful phenomenon of mass statelessness and discrimination on the basis of language in the sphere of work persist, etc
🔹The HCNM needs to pay special attention to the situation in the USA and Canada, as well as other countries „to the West of Vienna”

📌 Read excerpts from the statement of Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE Maxim Buyakevich “On gross violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms by some OSCE participating States, including the freedom of movement” (meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, 15 September 2022)
❗️ By indulging the Russophobes from the Baltic states and Poland, the #EU is descending into chauvinism and discrimination on national grounds: freedom of movement, like a number of other human rights, has also become hostage to the EU's anti-Russian policy
🔴 Visa "inquisition" of #EU against Russian citizens grossly violates international obligations and #OSCE commitments on freedom of movement, EU primary law and basic principles of non-discrimination
‼️ The 2006 Russia-EU visa facilitation agreement was not a “gift” to Russians, a unilateral concession or a “privilege”, as some in #EU are now trying to present, but a jointly negotiated and mutually beneficial mechanism
❌ We consider it categorically unacceptable for the European Commission to somehow indiscriminately «label» Russian citizens in the context of visa processing
⚫️ Claims that the #EU sanctions policy is not aimed at ordinary Russian citizens are untrue. Neither are claims that the EU's vocation is to «build bridges, not walls»: on the Polish-Belarusian border, fences have already taken physical form
🟤 In their restrictive actions on visas for Russians, avid #EU Russophobes want to «punish» all Russian citizens indiscriminately for supporting our country's independent foreign policy

💬 The #CoE is transforming into a fully EU-controlled human rights structure with clear anti-Russian narratives
☝️ By abusing their majority, #NATO and #EU members states aim at completing the the process of subordinating the #CoE to the objectives of their politico-military and economic expansion eastward and "re-educating” those considered to be unwelcomed
❕ Joining possible anti-Russian decisions of the #CoE summit in #Reykjavik will be regarded as an unfriendly act with unavoidable damage to bilateral relations
