🇷🇺⛲️ #OTD On 20 August 1721, the first launch of the famous fountains and cascades, which are a monument of world hydraulic art of the 18th-19th centuries, took place in Peterhof.

🟣The works on the creation of the ensemble continued for two centuries. They involved outstanding architects Leblon, Miketti, Zemtsov, Rastrelli, Felten, Shtakenshneider. Thanks to their labours, the estate with small palaces turned into the “capital of fountains” - a pearl of world architecture.

🏰 Today Petrodvorets is a world-famous open-air museum city. There are 10 museums and three parks open for viewing. There are three cascades and 173 fountains in the Upper Garden and the Lower Park.

⚡️ Representatives of the Moscow City Tourism Committee @moscomtourism take part in the #BLTM international tourism exhibition, which takes place on 29-31 August at the #Yashobhoomi exhibition centre in New Delhi.

⚡️ As part of the event, Russian participants are holding talks with representatives of the Indian tourism industry aimed at attracting Indian tourists to Moscow.

🏙 At the stand of Russian city, organised by the specialists of the St. Petersburg Exhibition and Convention Bureau, guests can get acquainted with classic and new tourist routes, as well as learn about popular programmes and promising types of tourism.
