🌐 5th Multilateral Consultations of Secretaries of Security Councils on Afghanistan held in Moscow. The meeting was attended by high representatives in charge of security issues from India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan…
Russian President Vladimir Putin met with heads of delegations taking part in the multilateral consultations of the secretaries of the security councils and national security advisors on Afghanistan.
#Putin: Unfortunately, since the American armed forces fled Afghanistan, the situation has not improved. International terrorist organisations are stepping up their activities, including al-Qaeda which is building up its potential. You know this very well.
We are also worried about attempts to use the situation in Afghanistan to allow extra-regional forces to expand or build their infrastructure. These countries will create this under the pretext of countering international terrorism, but they are not doing anything that is really necessary in the real counterterrorism struggle.

Speaking at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that the modern West prefers to ignore crimes of the Ukrainian nationalists of the WW2.
#Putin: Neo-Nazis, followers of Hitler, have been raised on pedestals as today’s heroes in Ukraine. The Holocaust means killing 6 million Jews, one and a half million of which were killed in Ukraine, and primarily at the hands of Bandera followers.

Well, the Poles have their own goals; they dream of retaking Western Ukraine. And, apparently, they are gradually moving towards this goal. But we are talking about the Holocaust. How can you deny it?

During the conversation, Vladimir Putin noted the successful development of the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership between India and Russia and stressed the importance of security issues in bilateral relations, thanking the Indian Side for maintaining dialogue in this area.
Ajit Doval, in turn, conveyed the words of gratitude from the Prime Minister. He also informed about Narendra Modi's readiness to share information on his recent visit to Ukraine.
