🇷🇺🇮🇳 On October 23, Minister Counsellor & DCM of the Russian Embassy in India Roman Babushkin addressed a conference of municipalities of Russia and India held at the Russian House in New Delhi.

📰 Roman Babushkin underscored that the initiative of the Civic Chamber of Russia to develop a dialogue with the All-India Council of Mayors could considerably expand bilateral interregional cooperation. He also called for the use of specialized tracks of multilateral interaction for these purposes, in particular, within BRICS.

👥 The speakers at the conference were Member of the Civic Chamber Andrey Maksimov, Chairperson of the Council of the Municipal Formation of the Urban District of Syktyvkar Anna Du, representatives of the All-Russian Union of Cities and the mayors' offices of New Delhi, Bhopal, Burhanpur, Kozhikode and others.
