🇷🇺🌊🌊🌊🇮🇳 On September 29, Honorary Consul of Russia in Trivandrum Ratheesh Nair arrived in the capital of Oman, Muscat, having completed the Iranian stage of the expedition.

🟣The journey, which started on September 2, repeats the route of the legendary "Journey Beyound the Three Seas" by Afanasy Nikitin.

🤝 In Oman, talks were held with Dr J.Retnakumar, Global Chairman of the World Malayalee Federation, during which it was decided to launch a free online course in Russian for members of the organization, whose branches are located in more than 100 countries around the world.

🇷🇺 At a meeting with Russian Ambassador to Oman Ilya Morgunov, the initiative to conduct joint Russian-Indian events involving local diasporas of the two countries was discussed.

🏁 The Indian route started in Khambhat, Gujarat, where Afanasy Nikitin set foot half a millennium ago, and will continue along the western coast. The finish is scheduled for October 14 in Kozhikode, Kerala — a city where there is a street named after the Russian traveller.
