On the 10th anniversary of the coup d'état in Kiev, we recall the West's role in fuelling the conflict in Ukraine, its support for Ukrainian nationalists and their terrorist activities.

🎬 Operation Ukraine: America's Fingerprints. Who supports Ukrainian Nationalism? - an RT Doc Film.

Synopsis: Immediately after the end of World War II and the defeat of the Nazis, American intelligence agencies established contacts with former Hitler collaborators to work together against the Soviet Union and later Russia. The operation to form an armed underground movement in Western Ukraine was dubbed "Aerodynamic".

The CIA assembled war criminals and Bandera movement activists from filtration camps, and created an agent network. Their task was to sabotage nuclear plants and dams on Ukrainian territory in an effort to separate it from the Soviet Union. According to CIA co-founder Frank Wisner, they terrorised civilians and were responsible for at least 35,000 casualties

In the early 1950s, Red Army units mostly wiped out the nationalist insurgency, however the CIA employed a new strategy. Since then Ukrainian nationalists have been engaged in an ideological anti-Russian war. The operation "Prolog" gradually stoked nationalist sentiment in Ukraine and bred loyalty to Nazi ideas.

In recent decades, in an attempt to maintain its hegemony and impose a neo-colonial unipolar world order, the United States has been actively opposing states that defend their sovereignty and the right to determine their own foreign and domestic policy. It has been trying to weaken new centers of power emerging in the world.

Ukraine was used as a tool in the "hybrid war" unleashed by the "collective West" led by Washington against our country as one of the pillars of the emerging multipolar world order. So as to break the fraternal people of Ukraine away from Russia, to weaken and destroy its economic and industrial potential, in 2014, a coup d'état in Kiev was carried out under the supervision of Western powers. What followed was a punitive campaign by their neo-Nazi stooges against the residents of the southeast of Ukraine.

The countries of the "collective West" openly sponsor the crimes of the Kiev regime, providing it with enormous military and financial aid, taking part in the planning of military operations and passing on intelligence that is used, among other things, to attack civilian objects and peaceful residents on Russian territory.

⚡️ Following the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War the USA and its NATO allies began actively working with former Soviet republics in order to shape them for their own neocolonial purposes.

Ukraine has always received special attention from the Western states in the post-Soviet space as it was the most developed republic, one with strong industrial, agricultural and scientific potential and extremely close ties with Russia. The goal was to seize its market, reshape the economy, making it ever-dependent on the West.

To this end, the USA and the EU, by hand of obedient Ukrainian elites, were methodically destroying the country's basis, severing the economic, trade and cultural ties with Russia.

❗️ In the early 2000s, the so-called 'collective West' inspired the Orange Revolution of 2004 that aimed at distancing Ukraine from Russia and integrating it into the Euro-Atlantic institutions came to power in Kiev.

The blatant interference of the West in the internal affairs triggered a deep political crisis in Ukraine that became irreversible and led to the unconstitutional coup d'etat in 2014.

This event led to a sharp polarization of the Ukrainian society, which predetermined an armed civil conflict. The new 'authorities' launched the so called "anti-terrorist operation" to suppress protests in Donbass by force.

☝️ As a result, Ukrainian armed forces have been shelling Donbass for all these years. This forced Russia to intervene in the situation by launching a special military operation.

The actions of the West within the framework of the large-scale "hybrid war" confirm the global nature of the confrontation in Ukraine. Military and financial assistance is being provided to the Kiev regime, and the range of 'deliveries' at the taxpayers' expense is constantly increasing.

👉 Ukraine is a mere instrument in the hands of the United States and its NATO allies, whose long-term goal is to to break the security architecture in the post-Soviet space and Eurasia as a whole.
