#Intel will launch ARC GPUs lineup in 2022, and there are still just a few known facts about them, but you can expect fast RT-cores, AI-acceleration, DLSS equivalent:

Intel is panicking: to improve financial reports for the next couple of years the company is shutting down a lot of divisions and services.

Among them goes PC development one and all their legendary NUC mini PC lineup: the last device will be produced in September. And Intel is trying to get rid of all units they still have by contacting partners and asking them to speed up sales.

Some parts of the division were consumed by ASUS who has their plans on portability (including ROG Ally lineup), but it's fascinating that the company was using their own laptops and NUCs to support new GPUs and now it's all gone.

Recent CPUs from Intel are a ticking bomb: they have an exceptionally fast degrading cycle...

The issue isn't fixable: you literally need to replace a faulty generation as a whole, which they don't want to do. So to avoid losses, Intel is trying to hide oxidation issue behind updates for the Voltage pattern in Microcode and BIOS (those are the issue but not related to physical oxidation problem of all 13 and 14-gen CPUs).

Professionals admit that such issue hasn't happened for over 25 years in CPU history. And it may be impossible to replace those chips for Intel and partners since the question would be "with what?" It may take them up to a year to get a significant quantities of upgraded and fixed units to replace over two years of faulty products.

The Intel story is unveiling rapidly: they are now getting rid of 15-19K employees and will stop all non-essential work. Which may or may not mean that 13/14-gen issues will hit them hard this year... and they decided to prepare for the collapse.

The whole gaming industry lost about 20-25K people in 2023 and Intel is aiming to cut up to 19K (out of 125K).
