📝 Относительно возобновления приема заявлений о выдаче паспортов с электронным носителем информации

❗️ С 20 сентября с.г. в системе МИД России, в том числе во всех дипломатических представительствах и консульских учреждениях Российской Федерации в иностранных государствах, возобновлен приём заявлений о выдаче паспортов сроком действия 10 лет, содержащих электронный носитель информации.

Технические сложности, приведшие к временной приостановке оформления таких паспортов, преодолены. Приняты дополнительные меры для обеспечения стабильной работы по оформлению и выдаче гражданам Российской Федерации, проживающим за рубежом, паспортов с электронным носителем информации.

‼️ В своем выступлении в ходе торжественной церемонии глава государства, в частности, отметил, что российско-португальские отношения «в течение многих лет, даже столетий, носили разноплановый и обоюдовыгодный характер». В.В.Путин констатировал, что «сейчас по известным причинам двусторонний политический и экономический диалог, сотрудничество приостановлены. Мы сожалеем об этом и уверены, что в конечном итоге ситуация выправится».

🇷🇺🇧🇾🇦🇲🇰🇬🇹🇯🇰🇿 Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov took part in a traditional working meeting of the foreign ministers of the CSTO member countries in New York on September 21.

The partners discussed the coordination of positions on the main items on the agenda of the 77th UN General Assembly session, and ways to strengthen the CSTO’s interaction with the UN, in part, as regards its involvement in UN peacekeeping missions.

The Foreign Ministers held a detailed exchange of views on a broad range of urgent issues of international and regional security, including the CSTO’s zone of responsibility and the situation in Afghanistan.

The Ministerial is an important step in further strengthening the CSTO’s foreign policy coordination and the regular synchronisation of positions on pressing international issues.

On September 21, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi on the sidelines of the high-level week at the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on the security of nuclear facilities in Ukraine, including the situation around the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant.

Sergey Lavrov reiterated Russia’s willingness to continue close cooperation with the #IAEA with a view to forcing the Kiev regime to immediately stop the shelling of the said plant and adjacent territory, including the city of Energodar, where the plant’s employees and their families live.

🤝 Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Peter Maurer on the sidelines of the 77th UN General Assembly session on September 21.

☝️ They discussed the parameters of Russia’s further cooperation with the ICRC on a broad range of issues. Mr Maurer’s attention was drawn to the incessant violations of international humanitarian law by Ukraine and the importance of meeting the humanitarian needs of the people of the Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics.

⚡️ Sergey Lavrov again emphasised the need for more intensive involvement from the Red Cross in resolving the problems of cruel treatment of the Russian POWs being held by the Kiev regime.

🇷🇺🇨🇭 On September 21, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with President of the Swiss Confederation and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Ignazio Cassis in New York on the sidelines of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly.

👉 The Russian side pointed out Switzerland's departure from the principle of neutrality, as evidenced in fully siding with the EU’s anti-Russia sanctions and pursuing an unfriendly policy with regard to Russia. Bern was called on to return to neutral state policy, which in previous years won the Confederation recognition in the international arena.

During the discussion on the situation in Ukraine in the context of the special military operation conducted by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov laid out Russia’s fundamental approaches to this matter.

The parties reviewed in detail various aspects of the General Assembly’s activities and noted the importance of raising its effectiveness and maintaining an atmosphere of cooperation and trust at its venue.

☝️ These efforts are particularly important amid the collective West’s attempts to politicise UNGA activities, erode its mandate, and make it a tool for exerting political pressure, including in the context of the situation in Ukraine and Donbass.

🇷🇺🇮🇷🇹🇷 On September 21, FM Sergey Lavrov took part in a trilateral ministerial meeting in the Astana format held on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

During an in-depth exchange of views on the current situation in 🇸🇾 Syria and around it, the Ministers emphasised the need to achieve sustainable stabilisation on the ground and peace and security of the Syrian Arab Republic by restoring its sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity.

Following the trilateral meeting, the Foreign Ministers of Russia, Iran and Turkey held consultations with 🇺🇳 UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen. They discussed the progress of the political process, which the Syrians themselves are conducting with UN support in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 2254.
