💐 The Russian Embassy in the USA reverently honors the memory of the feat of the multinational Soviet people who prevailed over Hitler's hordes during the Great Patriotic War and liberated the world from the "brown plague".
🎖 It is gratifying that our generation still has the opportunity to communicate with living witnesses of that era, to learn new facts about the war years of 1941-1945.
🪖 A vivid example of resilience and faithful service to the Fatherland is the fate of the cavalier of the Order of the Red Banner, L.B.Rosenberg. Leonid Borisovich participated in fierce battles in the North Caucasus and the Kursk Bulge, crossed the Dnepr river, liberated Ukraine, Belarus, and Poland from the German fascist invaders. He persevered and made it to Berlin. He poignantly described the hardships of war in numerous publications, including his autobiography "I Have the Honor!".
🎂 Activists of the Russian diaspora met with the veteran on the occasion of his 103rd birthday. They delivered a congratulatory letter from the Russian Ambassador to the USA, A.I.Antonov.
