It's been already 5️⃣ years since the Crimean Bridge started operating. It’s truly the supreme symbol of the reunification of Crimea with Russia.
Literally, the whole country took part in building it. Specialists and experts from all over Russia applied their skills and wits to construct the engineering marvel.
The Crimean Bridge with a total length of 19 km consists of parallel automobile and railway routes. Approximately 40 000 cars pass through the Bridge daily. More than 23 ml vehicles have crossed the Kerch Strait over the last 5 years.
🤝 The Crimean Bridge is instrumental in boosting and developing not only Crimea but also the Russian South in general.

🗓 On April 19, 1783, Empress Catherine the Great signed a manifesto on the accession of Crimea, Taman Island and Kuban region into the Russian Empire.
Prince Grigory Potemkin, Governor-General of Novorossiya, played one of the key roles in the accession and development of Crimea. In June 1783, on top of Mount Aq Qaya, he personally received the oath of allegiance to Russia from the Crimean nobility and common people.
The results of the 2014 all-Crimean referendum once again confirmed the desire of Crimeans to remain part of our country and led to the long-awaited reunification of Crimea with Russia.
