🎙 President Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 26th St Petersburg International Economic Forum (#SPIEF).
💬 Vladimir Putin: As in the past years, the event’s rich and substantive agenda covers a broad range of relevant and significant issues. Scientists, entrepreneurs, politicians and public figures will discuss key trends and prospects related to the Russian and global economy. They will examine the profound tectonic shifts that are gaining momentum today.
These are in no small measure due to the ongoing formation of a multipolar world and efforts by most countries to secure political and economic independence. Given this, I consider it to be both vital and timely that the theme for this year’s Forum is Sovereign Development as the Basis of a Just World: Joining Forces for Future Generations.

Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the regulatory body of the #EAEU, and Nikita Anisimov, Rector of the National Research University "Higher School of Economics" (HEC), signed a cooperation program between the EEC and the HEC for 2023-2024 on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum ( #SPIEF ).
1️⃣ Elaborate “Greater Eurasian Partnership Internship”, an academic exchange program for students, postgraduates and young scientists from the #EAEU countries;
2️⃣ Extend scientific and educational cooperation in the #EAEU;
3️⃣ Implement digital cooperation projects in the field of science and education;
4️⃣ Focus on programs to support international scientific academic mobility in the #EAEU;
5️⃣ Give priority to a system of grant support for training and research activities in Russia for the #EAEU countries' citizens;
6️⃣ Pay attention to joint Eurasian research and development in priority areas of scientific, technical and innovative cooperation.
💬 Mikhail Myasnikovich: The peculiarity of this program is that it includes new interesting events and projects that will extend the practice of involving the academic and scientific communities in the Eurasian integration.
💬 Nikita Anisimov: The updated Concept of the Foreign Policy of the Russian Federation, highlights the development of the Eurasian integration as a key priority. The #EAEU is seen as an integral part and a key pillar for establishing the Greater Eurasian Partnership.
