Meeting of Boris Alekseevich Holmston-Smyslovsky with Solzhenitsyn.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, while in Vaduz in 1975, visited Boris Smyslovsky. During a lengthy conversation, which took place in the presence of Dr. A. Frick and the director of the princely chancery, it became clear that the general had no photographs of his relatives. Solzhenitsyn gave him several photographs of the Smyslovsky family from his personal archive. The writer also expressed gratitude to Lichtenstein for the position taken in 1945 and sent the prince a special letter of gratitude to Franz Joseph and the government for their determination.

Details from the publication “Our Country”:
"Since his expulsion from the USSR, A. I. Solzhenitsyn has visited the Principality of Liechtenstein twice. The first time was in 1974, when he visited the chancery of the ruling prince incognito and handed him a paper in which he thanked him for refusing to hand over to the Soviet commission the officials of the 1st Russian National Army, interned in the principality in 1945. The writer emphasized that no one else had done this, and that when the great powers made a dirty deal, little Liechtenstein showed heroic morality and fortitude.
The second time Solzhenitsyn came there completely unexpectedly after his trip to America and was invited to dinner by the prince. The author of "The Gulag Archipelago" was very touchingly and warmly received and sat for about three hours. Then, having learned from the prince that the former commander of the 1st Russian [National] Army, General Boris Alekseevich Holmston-Smyslovsky, was currently in the country, he wanted to meet him. The prince's secretary called the general, and at exactly four o'clock Solzhenitsyn went to see B. A. Holmston, accompanied by his secretary, the director of the prince's office, and Dr. Frick, who was the ruler of the principality during the internment of the 1st Russian [National] Army (1945-1947).
The writer was very interested in the entire military career of General Holmston's father, whom, as is known, he described in "August 1914". Having learned that B.A. had last seen his tragically deceased father in August 1914, and his mother in September 1918, and that he could not take any photographs with him when he left Petrograd, he reported that the archive he had managed to take out of Moscow contained a whole section related to the activities of the Smyslovskys. The next day, General Holmston received photographs of his loved ones. The conversation lasted three hours, and at its end, the Nobel laureate asked the "Nasha Strana" employee to send him his books and articles, which General Holmston did.

When the March winds blow down the bowers
When the New Year’s flower and snow-drops bloom
When the white clouds wring out their clothes
Thank you to those who remember us
Let our sorrows rise like the mountain
Sorrow here means the pain that one feels when they have a lot of love in their heart

“It is characteristic that even in the last months of the war, when everyone could already see that Hitler had lost the war, tens of thousands of Russians joined the Russian Liberation Army! It was the voice of the Russian people. And despite the fact that the history of the ROA was ignored by both Bolshevik ideologists and Westerners who could not imagine that the Russians could have their own goal of liberation, it will still be remembered as an exceptional and heroic page of Russian history - in whose longevity and future we still believe today.”

Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Regardless of what you may think of Serbia and Turkey as countries and the political figures therein. Vucic and Erdogan are net negatives for their respective countries and regions and the fact that everyone from the far-right far-left and center taking part in these demonstrations is a testament to the unpopularity of them.

🇵🇱🇵🇱🤝🇩🇪 — Hubert Jura, also known by his alias "Tom," was a Polish nationalist and military officer who collaborated with the SS.

Initially serving as a lieutenant in the Polish Army, he first fought against the Germans before joining the Polish underground. However, he was later expelled due to his wartime conduct and anti-Jewish activities.

Following this, he aligned himself with the Gestapo and the SS, he had made his own organization ''Tom's Organization'' which was connected with Holy Cross Brigade, although it was skeptical of German activities due to land disputes it did not see to merge with Home Army.

His death is currently unknown.
